Melee doesn't have all of the brawl characters.
Brawl doesn't have all of the melee characters.
SSF is really crappy.
This game has Ridley, hopefully meta form, and might have Geno under given pretenses.

You know, Given that proffesionals spent years of thinking and planning, Im pretty sure they were justified not including Ridley, Being the massive flying piece of crap he is. Also, pretty much all of the people from melee that didnt make it to brawl shouldn't really be there anyways, or truely replaced.

AND, Ridley is the main antagonist of the Metroid series and is actually the purpose samus is a bounty hunter to begin with. His importance is second only to Samus.
