Northeastern Entertainment System (NES) presents:
Super N.E.S. Tournament '11
April 23rd, 2011
SNES...T is our attempt to spark up the Brawl community here in the city. It's been a while since there's been a decent sized tournament right in Boston.
Location
444 Curry Student Center
346 Huntington Avenue
Boston, MA 02115
A bit hard to find, see NU Campus Map for more details. It's building 50.
We will have 3 connecting rooms, 442,444,446 in Curry Student Center. Take the elevator to the 4th floor and make a left.
There's a food court open for most of the day downstairs, and more food is a short walk away.
If you need assistance, call or text:

Rules
General:
- 3 Stocks
- 8:00 Time Limit
- Double Elimination Bracket
- Items set to "off" and "none"
- Try to bring your own controller. We may have extras, but we cannot guarantee this.
- Make sure your controls are set before the match. If a player quits a match because their controls are not set right, that player will forfeit that match.
- All Matches are best of 3, except for Losers Final, Winners Final and Grand Final ,which are best of 5.
- If a game goes to sudden death, the player with the smaller percent on the final stock will be the winner. If (somehow..) both have the same percent, a 1 stock, 3 minute match will be played out.
- If both player die via a suicide move (DDD, Kirby, Bowser, Dorf etc..), the player initiating the move will be the winner.
- MK cape glitch is banned. Standing infinite chaingrabs (ie: Marth on lucas/ness) are banned. IC chaingrabs are legal until 250%, after which they will be considered stalling.
- 50 ledge grab rule is in effect. If a game ends after 8 minutes, and a player had 50+ ledge grabs, that player will forfeit that match.
- If a match is called, each player has 10 minutes to show up, or they will be DQed from the set. If notice is given that a player is leaving, that match may be (reasonably) postponed.
- Controller ports will be in 1-2-2-1 order. This can be determined by rock paper scissors.
- Team Attack set to "on"
- Share stock is allowed
- Both players choose their characters for the first match.
- Player 1 strikes a neutral stage. Player 2 strikes two neutral stages. Player 1 strikes one of the remaining two neutrals. The remaining stage will be the stage for the first game.
- After the first game, the winner bans one legal (neutral or counterpick) stage.
- The loser of the first game picks a neutral or counterpick stage.
- The winner of the first game chooses their character. The loser then chooses their character and game 2 begins.
