Super Mario RPG

Remember that awesome game created by nintendo and square? Remember Mallow, Geno, Frogfucious, and all the others? Remember one of the coolest plots of a Mario game?

I do! I check the Wii shop channel every monday to see if it's available for download! I know just about every secret there is to the game. I first beat it at the age of 5, and played it again 10 years later with more enjoyment out of maturity!

Respond if you. too, remember this game or have any info on its VC release date.

I wish I knew when it was gonna be released for VC. I know myself and many friends who would want it. I also played SMRPG at a young age and beat it, loved every second of it. Truly one of my favorite games of all time. Peach's frying pan FOR WIN!

Yep it pretty much set the bar for the Mario RPG games, IMO this is a case of the roiginal being the best out of this series.

Super Mario RPG is definitely my all-time favorite game. Everything about that game, from the characters to the storyline all the way down to the beautiful ending is just perfect. <3

I've heard that SMRPG is supposed to be released sometime this year, but an actual release date is still unknown. I hope it's soon though. T_T

The only way to explain SMRPG's awesomess is to sit down and play it. I've been a fan of the game since it first came out in May 1996 and even after all these years I still love it and find that it never gets old.

Mario, Geno and Peach was always my party too! xD I always gave Peach the Safety Ring with the Frying Pan and Geno with the Safety Badge and Star Gun and Mario always used his big red Lazy Shell to attack the enemies. xD

I found my super nintendo a couple weekends ago, and it still had SMRPG loaded in the the slot. I took it back to my apartment, and when I finally got around to hooking it up two weeks later, I found out the A/V cables I was using for it were totally shredded and worthless. It'll probably be another 3 weeks before I get the chance to buy new cables and have the time to give it a good play-through : (

If you still have your Gamecube, the A/V cables from that will work, as will N64 ones.

Yeah, but you can always avoid using when playing the game. it was my first RPG and one of the best RPG's I ever played.

The game is kinda easy when Peach is equipped with a Lazy Shell armor and a Safety Pin. Mario with Hero Suit and Lazy Shell, and Geno with Star Gun, Star Cape, and Exp Booster.

Then its easy.

Chrono Trigger had a better battle system, but I still think Super Mario RPG had the most fun, I mean come on it was isometric and interactive. Only thing wrong with that game was that it was way to short, way to easy. They should forget Paper Mario(Fun game though) and make a Super Mario RPG 2!

This was a great game and should really be put on VC soon. My team was Mario, Bowser and Geno. I beat this game so many times. Definatly one of the best games on the SNES.

I think the idea is being considered and isn't final yet. But it would be helpful for Geno's Brawl chances if it was legit and agreed upon soon enough.

I would buy it in a heartbeat though if it was/is real.

Same. I've been waiting for a sequel to that game patiently for a very long time now.

If Geno is advertised by being put in Brawl, we can expect him in more games in the future and back into the Mario universe.
