Strings and True Combos Compilation

Good to see you, my dearest angels.
Facing the need that our board is passing through, one of the highlights that i did was to make a list of all true combos that pit has.

I'm sorry for my english, i'm trying my best.

I hope that all your knowledge about possibilities, situationals AND true combos can be shown here. It will make starters pit players have at least an idea of current pit's metagame and direction to train besides useless AT's found at YouTube (as you might know).

Please, don't come up with replys that is helpless and making fun of each other.
Strings are situational.
True Combos as well (normally made at 0%).
So please be a legit brawl player and help our community.


At the end of a weekend, i will make a list of all stings and true combos listed.
Than, after 15 or 30 days, i'll make a video having all the combos listed and start posting in others boards making that way, pit boards look more important. x) Is is a nice idea?

This Thread is for Legit Follow ups for Pit's Moves.

DISCLAIMER: I really can't say Combos. Anywayz Below is a list of Moves that can follow up into different moves of prefences that will work Some, or most of the times.

I'll break them into categories stemming from the base. You can mix and match at your own disposal.

Most of these Follow ups will require the DI of your opponent, Mind-Gamez or Shield Punishment. Also most of them work from lower percents to damage your opponent so you can set up for the kill.

Vocabulary- Arm yourselves with knowledge
SH - Short Hop
AR- Angel Rings
Nair - Neutral Air
Fair - Forward Air
Dair- Down Air
Bair - Back Air
Uair - Up Air
Glide Cancel - is hitting jump while glide very close to the ground, and you laglessly end your glide without a slide
Sliding- Probably refers to Angelic Step (Reserve Pivot Slide)
ART - Starting AR in the air and when landing you slide as if starting on the ground. Called Angel Ring Technique
HSmash- Hyphen Smash, to slide while up smashing

Anywayz Let me know if there is anything i missed or anything you do that you want to add.
Remember this is just a small list, take some of these things Mix and match them to your own style and use whatever follow ups you see necessary. Good Luck.

Items? Banana lock to Arrow.

But only against Diddy lulz.

Trip to Arrow. I'm only half joking. True combos are far and few in between.

If you're lucky, and diddy is near the edge.
Glide toss in it's direction + Dsmash + Arrow.

I did this in a tournament. Almost legit.

The footstool banana.

#1 If you notice that when you footstool someone, your jump decreases.
#2 getting hit directly with a banana give far more stun than just tripping
#3 must Be thrown down, and aerial dodged on earliest frames.
not sure if fast fall helps, the evade in long enough

Steps- Jump >footstool
-throw banana down
-Aerial evade ( auto catches banana)(optional)
-2nd footstool
-Throw banana down
-Aerial evade ( auto catches banana)
-you will not be able to footstool, so you will land on the ground and repeat.

Dair 3-6% character weight specific to footstool, WoI to cancel footstool momentum,
Fair or weak bair for a jab lock, to a forward smash/dthrow to uair

Dair string alternate would be fast fall evade after connected Dair, to utilt/ upsmash.

Sh Nair last 2-3 hits > SH Dair>Aerial Rising Nair > FF> Aerial Uair> Fair

Sh Nair last 2-3 hits > SH Dair>Aerial Rising Nair > Fair > Fair

Another nair if the opponent air dodges the first.

I'll work on this combo more though.
