I would charge an f-smash, since its timing is easy, if you aren't a total noob. The d-tilt just never worked for me.
Old thread.

But, if you start charging an fsmash to stop their illusion, they will just firefox instead. D-tilt works much better.

also im not sure if this works but press down b and if he hits you with it you will counter..might not work since it goes through you..
um no, lol

this is not a good idea, if he's going through you, the counter is much too slow to actually hit him

if he's going for the edge, there's still a good chance of missing

best option is definitely jab

dtilt is good if he's going for the edge but since you didn't specify this, i assume you're also talking about above, which dtilt might miss

charge b if you're not at the edge and are "running" (or i guess jumping) over in a hurry although this requires some good timing....

has anyone tried this... jab then turn around wavedash onto the edge for invincibility frames then drop down to side b then if its their last stock hit them with a rising dair if its not do a rising fair and then up b to regrab the edge

hm, interesting....

dunno if there'd be enough time for that....

usually the jab sets them up for a good counter on the firefox/bird though.....so im guessing that's much safer
