Stop it with Pacman already!!!!!!

I thought Pacman would suck and I couldn't envisage a moveset.

But credit to Neiteio, great ideas. Looking at the moveset has slightly changed my mind and highlights his potential.

Pacman is a gaming icon. There is no arguing against that.

i disagree vehemently. pac-man is awesome. pac-man is iconic. really, pac-man is THE video game icon, and the grandfather of video game mascots. he has great moveset potential.

if pac-man is in brawl (and his chances are good), i will main him and hunt you down.

Just the fact that you have him spit thing in your moveset is exactly what I said in the topic starter

That still doesn't prove the developers couldn't come up with a creative move set if they wanted too. See Pokémon Trainer and how the fan move sets were not even remotely close to his actual move set.

Personally, I doubt Pac-Man will show up in Brawl, just because I think Nintendo will favor other 3rd party characters. However, I'll be hard pressed to see Sakurai say they didn't put Pac-Man in due to not being able to come up with a move set.

God, how can people even think that Pacman is a character worthy of being in brawl? I know he is Namco's mascot and everything, but if someone wants a Namco character it would have to be Klonoa although his games pretty much blow, returning to pacman he does nothing else than eating pills... so what would his moveset be? spitting pills and then eat them to spit them again? geez, then eat blue ghosts for power ups? lol, seek help if you would like to play with pacman in brawl, don't you agree?

Sorry man, but I have to disagree with you whole heartedly. Face facts, Pac Man is an icon, a living legend along side with Mario. Sure, Pac Man is from Namco, but he could possibly be on Brawl if Sega and Capcom don't decide to add Sonic or Megaman.

And for the billionth time, there was a Mario Kart arcade in Japan that had Pac Man as a playable character. So basically, Namco and Ninendo are the best of friends, They could add Pac Man to Brawl, or some other Namco 3rd party character. coughcoughnightmarecoughcoughsoulcaliburcoughcough

I wouldn't want Pac-Man in Brawl, but he's a choice just like all of the other third-party characters that have appeared on Nintendo Consoles.

No, keep it open 'cause that topic starter statement SUCKED! Cap'n Falcon had has an ORIGINAL moveset. He wasn't a fighter, he was (is) an F-Zero Racer! Pac-Man eats Dots right, not a fighter. I smell an ORIGINAL moveset. Pac would RULE!!!

True, but even Caption Falcon seems more interesting than Pac Man. Thats why if I had to choose between new characters for Brawl, ones that would actually be interesting, it would be: Ridley and Sonic. (If they even make it in, and if they don't, oh well. Link is in Brawl, and thats all I really care about.)

Neiteio's moveset completely changed my opinion about Pac Man being in Brawl. Although I would change his FS.

At first I didn't want Pac Man, but I still didn't agree with the TS. The TS was just saying 'O hay lol no pac man tpix cuz i said so', which he has no right to say. We can make whatever threads for characters we want, and we'll get flamed or agreed with accordingly. He has no right to tell us what topics we can and can't make.

It's possible to support a character even if you know they won't make it.

Example: I support Mr. L, Hitmonlee, and Nephenee for Brawl. Will any of them make it? **** no! But that doesn't stop me from supporting them. (Mr. L could end up as a Luigi costume and that would be enough for me.)

I support Pac-Man, but I don't think he is a likely candidate for Brawl. If he makes it, then he'll be a very welcomed addition to my play list.

Pac-Man CAN and WOULD have a moveset if he were included in Brawl. It is pure ignorance to claim otherwise. It would likely have some eating-based move, but most of the moves would likely be taken from the 3-D platformers.

Also, Neit... I love that Final Smash idea.

Hmm... how come people in this forum think they're so intelligent? we're discussing video games to begin with, not biology. God, I don't have to give extremely detailed arguments on why I don't want pacman in the game other than the ones I already stated, is not like my life depends on this.

Pacman, if you want to admit it or not, has a chance of being in the game. He's appeared on many Nintendo consoles, originated in video games, is an icon (probably the most recognizable game character, beating even Mario), and has appeared in another Nintendo made game.
