Still Life I drew

This was for my drawing class. It's a chair with a flag draped over it (the black 1inch boarder around the picture was going to be used for matting it, but I never got around to it, so keep in mind, the chair and the flag don't actually end where the black edge is) Hope you like it.

Hooooooly mackerel! This is astounding! I've taken many life drawing classes (still life and figure), but never have I devoted such time to truly capturing the form and shadows. This is beautiful.

My life drawings are incredibly energetic and gestural. It's all about creating a structure rather than replicating a nearly picture-perfect image. Incredible skills of perception, translation, and drawing. I salute you.
