Stats keeping

Okay, so i'm a stats and fantasy sports geek. I'm throwing this out as idea: we should keep stats on individual matches.

Now what stats do i mean? I'm talking about keeping track what percentage you die at, what stock, what map, what chars, even the moves. I'm getting tired of people discussing things like "marth can't kill at high percentages" but don't have any evidence to back it up.

I think the more people rely on anecdotes or personal opinions, we're slowing down development. It'll probably never happen, since youtube vids basically show us more than any stat sheet can, but i would like it see it happen.

All the evidence we need for claims like that is in the character design. Marth's kill moves are unsafe, therefore Marth cannot kill reliably.

I don't need a stat sheet from Neo vs Ally to tell me that.

What you are suggesting is really unneccessary, we notice trends through watching and playing matches. Or we do testing, recording stats for matches is not needed.
