This is the thread for Viable stages(Or just close enough to it stages) that should be included in Vanilla Project M. Well hell this is for any stage that have been in a Smash game that you think should be included in Vanilla Project M. Here is my top five that I wish were in Vanilla Project M. What are yours?

#1. Snag the Trophies (Melee Bonus Stage in Classic Mode)
http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/9951/al1212210324binout.jpg
It would be so dope if trophies would fall like in melee and would interact the same way during battle. It would also be a nice homage to Melee kind of like Metal Cavern for SSB64.

#2. Dream Land: Green Greens (Melee SD Remix Edited Version)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFx5mEsjOls
This would be a nice Homage to Melee SD Remix and Melee.

#3. Underground Maze Link Battle Stages (Melee Adventure Where the Triforces r below)
http://www.vgmaps.com/Atlas/GCN/SuperSmashBrosMelee-Adventure-Stage2-UndergroundMaze.jpg
It would be cool if the stage would change between the 5 different set ups.
Set up 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwJrkxs7b3I&feature=player_detailpage#t=265s
Set Up 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=oi8FyYmOAuE#t=30s
Set Up 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=oi8FyYmOAuE#t=91s
Set up 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLxIu42R0rE&feature=player_detailpage#t=386s
Set Up 5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLxIu42R0rE&feature=player_detailpage#t=577s

#4. Wi-Fi Waiting Room (Brawl Online Practice Stage)
http://i.ytimg.com/vi/915I19IBbvE/0.jpg
It would be dope if the Sandbag was included in this stage also and interacted like it does online.

#5. Kongo Jungle (Melee Version)
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100215050740/nintendo/en/images/6/6d/Kongojungle.jpg
This is just a personal favorite. With the Barrel below removed this stage would be a good stage.

Only one worth mentioning is Peach's Castle 64.
I really disliked that stage as it never looked like a stage, it's more of a random collection of semi-Mario-related objects.

I think Project M's stage selection as it stands is really solid. I would enjoy the following though:

1. Melee Adventure mode's Mushroom Kingdom elevated Yoshi Battle area:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=G1NXvTj0zQg#t=72s

2. Melee Kongo Jungle

3. 64's Tutorial stage, with a custom texturing:
http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Tutorial_Stage_64

4. Melee Peach's Castle would be nice for casual play, I guess.

Aero Port Drive replaced with Mute City

Big Blue replaced with Poke Floats

Flatzone replaced with Great Bay

Mario Circuit replaced with Peach Castle

Summit replaced with Kongo Jungle

Project M has so many tournament viable stages available that all new stages should be focused on replacing crap stages, like the Brawl leftovers above, with these fun Melee stages that people like to play.

Melee's battlefield with less screwy ledges.
Mute City Melee, or a new stage Mute City Twisted Road from F-ZERO GX. If that were to be made then first stop will be at the lap Mark, next will be between all the dash plates, then between the pit zones, then next to the loopy turn around twist part, then last on and at the machines starting points and then it repeats again. Awfully similar to Mute City Melee, but with a different course layout and better graphics.
Melee Adventue mode Mushroom Kingdom elevated Yoshi area.

Mushroom Kingdom 64 I miss, Mushroom Kingdom Melee NO!!!! MK2 was alright.
But personally as much as I love Mute City 1 from F-ZERO X (the one in Melee), Mute City Twist Road from GX would look much nicer with Project M and the stage would be very identical to Mute City 1 in terms of where the platforms land. I can obtain the textures for it, and maybe recreate some models, but that's all I can do. Any course from F-ZERO GX would be nice. If no one's willing to though than Mute City Melee would be more than enough still for me, and I would want that over Big Blue.

Great Bay is a must have.
Poke Floats would be nice.
Glad I'm the only one who doesn't hate Brinstar Depths, it's not that bad of a stage to play on casually and I love the music there.

Yeah, Mushroom Kingdom 64 was definitely cooler than the Mushroom Kingdom stage in Melee. I liked being able to smack Birdo around in MK2 as well.

Yeah was it legit or what? I never played Brawl Minus or Plus cause they seemed like crap but no offense to them fellas who worked on it. Also the regular 75m doesn't seem like it could be changed that much to work as a good stage.

I know there's a version of Kongo Jungle 64 with a barrel out there, so my question is....why isn't it in P:M?

I thought the barrel was taken out on purpose because it was lame and in order to make the stage more playable/viable.

Honestly if we keep the list to counterpicks and sacrifice All-Star mode, we can use stage roster expansion for this

All Brawl+ stages including Luigi's Mansion+ (Removed for Castlevania Stage), Pirate Ship+ (You can fall in the water, no bombs, and the tornado never affects the physics), Pictochat+, Port Town Aero Dive+ (I prefer Mute City but this stage is great too)

I wish I new of all of the Brawl- and Brawl + edited stages. I could be missing some amazing stages that should definitely be a part of Project M. Although bringing back Melee and Smash64 classics seem the most interesting to me. Like if you know of any of those good - or + stages you should link it with a picture or video.

Aero Port Drive replaced with Mute City
Thisthisthisthis.

Also, with ledges added to the sides of the main platform.

Also the Yoshi Story 64 stage, the version without the clouds.

1337m is a workable replacement for 75m, which is the worst stage ever made.

I love pokefloats a lot, but I don't think it really belongs in Project M.

Great bay might be cool. There's a "balanced" version on the vault, but it just makes the stage boring.

This rebalanced version of Frigate Orpheon (ideally with a ledge added in the center of the stage's first form that is only active when the moving platform is raised, Mewtwo2000 knows how to do this, he did it in his mario castle 64 stage, it's just a matter of having an invisible object with a ledge attached move through the stage at the right time)

Neutral pirate ship

Luigi's Mansion+

In general, I'd love to be able to turn on every stage for random select.

I honestly thought Mute City would have been brought back right away like wtf why wasn't it even on Demo 2.1? Also edges you can actually grab on it is a good idea, maybe anyway. Yoshi Story 64 like the Melee SD Remix one except with maybe keeping the top platform would be awesome. I agree. Here is the Melee SD Remix Yoshi Story 64 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAa3g5Pg72w&feature=player_detailpage#t=362s

I feel like of all the Melee stages, Mute City would be the hardest to recreate - lots of models and animations. Not sure if anyone's gonna bother to do it.

Actually, Mewtwo2000 is in the process of finalizing the stage. I think he just wants to polish a couple of things and then he will release Mute City!

Also, we need Bowser's Castle over Mario Circuit.

That stage is pretty cool. it has a similar layout of Pokemon stadium, but does the tree still blow?
Yes the tree still blows.

Also a stage that wouldn't be as cool as a lot of the other stages we already mentioned but would still be cool is The Entei Trophy tussle stage from Event Match 26.
http://www.ssbwiki.com/images/thumb/5/59/EnteiStage_copy.jpg/225px-EnteiStage_copy.jpg Its the most balanced of those trophy tussle stages anyway and it is a unique stage.

Also I like Temple just because it is a good stage for testing or practicing different things out. That's why I would vote for the Melee Test Stage to make a return in some way. For example like make it only selectable in training mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaP93wwUUtU&feature=player_detailpage#t=528s

In response to this, i think it would be cool if everytime you pick this stage, it rotates through each setup :cool::cool: Plus i have an idea for the coding. You know how smashville changes based on the time of day, you could take that as a base and modify it so it changes more often. What you guys thnk?

Yeah man that would be cool MVP more so the first concept you mentioned. Well here is a crazy concept. First it starts off as one of the random set-ups. Then lets say like it was based on deaths like for every 2 deaths of whichever player(doesn't matter it could be a death each in 1vs1)then the stage would change. So if you get four stocked it will at lerast change once or if its going back and fourth it would change at least 3 times or whatever. Also like with the time concept you were saying maybe it could just change like every minute and a half or something.

Brawl+ stages summarized, the best thing to come out of this mod IMO.

Summit+, stage was frozen (heh), no sliding on platforms
Spear Pillar+ - No underside, no spawning Pokemon
Big Blue+-Cars removed, only has the area with the Falcon Flyer
Luigi's Mansion+-Can pass through floors in the mansion
Pirate Ship+-No tornados, No bombs, no swimming
Distant Planet+-Pellets don't spawn, Bulborb doesn't eat players
Pictochat+-Lots of hazards changed to prevent slowing down gameplay, damaging hazards removed

Rest were changed for the better

I just really hope the PMBR decides to put in Mewtwo2000's Princess Peach's Castle (the melee one that he is currently working on, not the 64 one). That stage may not be great for any sort of serious match, but it was an enjoyable friendlies map due to the comfortable size and not too potent gimmicks.

I miss Great Bay and Pokefloats too, but those seem harder to recreate (like coding in the popping of Tingle's balloon and the sheer number of models probably needed for Pokefloats).
