Hm, yeah, I probably should've added that the momentum of the stage can also give you a disadvantage.

There's a huge one IMO to add to the Cons list that you missed, FD. There's one mutation of the stage, when we're on the island that slopes off on both sides, which is VERY bad for ganon when you're playing against someone campy (Samus, Rob, Falco, Wolf, etc). Campers can park themselves on one side of the island and SH to fire a projectile which barely skirts along the ground of the raised, center part of the island. This makes it exceedingly difficult to approach if you're playing against someone who is good at camping and understands the advantage that this part of the level affords them.
In addendum to that, if you fall into the water a character like snake can tilt spam the edge (or even smash charge you) just far enough to be out of reach of fair, and just close enough to catch you out of a shad onto land (or choke, which seems to not work often for me). And if it's a character with a stunning projectile they can freeze you and then spike or smash you off.

I find that wall locking isn't as much of a problem as being stuck on a lower level and having few options to approach up at someone without being punished by lag. I usually have to wait for them to approach when the stage changes, but if I played someone who went campy more I'd probably die alot on delfino.
