This thread is for discussing what stages characters are good/bad on and why. I don't know every single detail of stage counterpicks but if you could fill me and everyone else in with more info, it would help alot. Thank you.

Any light character ( MK, fox, G&W etc ) should have a advantage in Luigi's mansion. They won't die easily on the count of the walls in the mansion.

Lylat Cruise could have a disadvantage for projectile characters because of the tilt of the stage.

Luigis mansion owns projectile users. Dk likes walkofg stage early kills, and bridge of Eldin is a Dedede orgasm. Lucario has has recovery advantages in yoshis island. Corneria and green greens have the lowest walls i believe

Every character is bad on 75m

Tether characters ie Ivysaur Olimar and ZSS are bad on Hanenbow (but then again Ivysaur is bad everywhere).

Any of the dynamic levels such as rainbow cruise or pkstadium1 are a solid choice against chaingrabbers such as ddd or falco to name the more annoying ones.

Norfair could be food for characters that have tether recoveries.
Since there are so many ledges in Norfair.

Ivysaur doesn't suck, because flat stages are where he is good at (he can easily hit an opponent on, oh,lets just say FD).

Let's not forget all the big things about Shadow Moses... good for chaingrabs (DDD either gets infinite walls or walk-offs), characters with tether recoveries, vs. characters who can't kill upwards very well- quite a few good ones there.

Skyworld is a much discussed counter pick because it is borderline banned, it can be really insane and the edges dissapear.
