SSM Hacking Help

Whenever I copy the new dsp hex to the character.ssm its always longer and I domt understand what godfeds tutorial mean and there arnt many ssm guides out there

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

The audio file you converted, was it the correct Sample Rate? Example, if the Melee audio file you were editing was 32000 sample rate and the new file you were making was like 44100 sample rate, it won't come out the correct size even if both files share the same time length.

Also, what kind of audio editing software are you using?
