Spoonerisms

Just really curious about something. What would be the adjective version of the word spoonerism? If you don't know what a spoonerism is, just look it up on wiki or dictionary.com. Its quite funny really. Most of us say spoonerisms everyday without even realizing it. lol

Spooneristic. Think of realism->realistic.

Or maybe spoonerist, like how you'd say Taoist or Buddhist.

By the way, that was mostly just a guess. I'm just following what would make sense for that word, but as far as I know it's not an 'actual' word.

I'm partial to spoonertabulous, but then again, I'm just making that up for fun. Spoonertastic, spooneriffic, spoonereal, spoonerlific. These are fun! :D

I don't understand how it works though. Am I realizing that I missed a letter, and just fixing it into the sentence in lieu of the extra letter I produced?

Or, like that famous poster that talks about reading words as a whole, does the brain think of sentences as a whole and just do things out of order sometimes?
