Again, another double update. Today we got another Assist Trophy, the original Andross from Starfox on Snes, and a “Special Moves” update, showing off Metaknights special moves.

Andross
I know some people will be disapointed, as they had hoped that Andross (the “new” incarnation where he actually looked like a real head and had floating hands) would be a boss (some suggesting the head to Crazy and Master Hands) but regardless, Andross is an assist trophy, one which seems to share a similarity to Lugia in Smash Bros Melee.
It goes without saying that he’s, well, big. Like really big.

After he comes out, he moves off into the background, inhales and begins to launch his blocky projectiles that he attacked with back in the Snes days.

Needless to say, they probably hurt a lot.

Special Moves, Staring Metaknight
This update is a rough explanation of the various 4 special moves and how one uses them. While it’s another “Beginners guide to Brawl” it does show us Metaknights 4 special moves, which look interesting to say the least, even though there’s not much detail on exactly what each one does.
Neutral Special
Mach Tornado: This attack seems to involve Metaknight holding his sword upwards and spinning around. Fairly simple.

Forward Special
Triple Dash: I’m thinking this attack is going to be a mix of Pikachu’s Up Special and Marth and Roy’s old Forward Special. I’m guessing it’ll be like Pikachu’s dash, but require timing and be limited to only horizontal movement, like Melee’s Fire Emblem pair.

Now, the 2 that look the least clear on what they do.
Up Special
Shuttle Loop: I’m not sure how this will work as a recovery move, as he does seem to move in a loop, backwards, so it seems like most angles he would actually fly away from the stage at the point where he would want to grab it, unless he flies to the top of the arc, flips around, and then, as seen in Trailer 2, glides. Again, I’m just guessing.

Down Special
Dimentional Cape: It’d be a safe assumption that this move is what MetaKnight showed of in the first trailer, reflecting Pit’s arrow. The fact that the description for “Down Special” is “Many of these do unusual things, like reflect enemy attacks.” would also hint as to what this does. I hope, for variety’s sake, it doesn’t reflect so much as deflect, otherwise the move is just a tad too similar to Foxes reflector. At least from what I can see right now, could be totally diferent.
