We love melee to death, never really though about playing PM. We end up playing smash whenever we get together. We even set up small tournaments for bragging rights. How many people do you know that play in SUFU? I know the group I play with have always wanted to do a crew battle.

We have three guys that play steadily and maybe 2 or 3 more that play other fighting games like SF but will dabble in Smash. One of us really likes Melee still, and even though I have no Melee game, I'd be happy to play and learn more.

Okay, Guys, it's tournament almost season in Nebraska

October 11th is Roll Tier X4($1100 total pot bonuses), which features $500 pot bonuses for both melee and PM each and $100 on a free sm4sh tournament (must sign up for at least 1 other event to register for it and byo3ds), free Pizza from Little Caesars and free Venue fee amongst tons of other hype bonuses!

At the same great, spacious venue as Roll Tier X4, 70MGame, featuring the RTx4 staff and free pizza from Little Caesars. Last weekend we had 100+ for RTx4, let's keep it coming for Nebraska's first open Sm4sh tournaments, along with 64/Brawl singles and doubles.

Would anyone be interested in raising money for a state-wide tourney in Sioux Falls? I have connections to large venues or churches that may be willing to host it. I feel like the South Dakota smashers don't get the credit they deserve. This event may be between the beginning of 2015 or later depending on the funding. Feedback would be great!

To any Smashers in the Sioux Falls area: We've been running Smash 4 on Wii U every other Sunday at Galaxy Gaming from 2-8 PM. We are meeting this Sunday, the 7th of December. So far there has been enough interest to have two set-ups going, so plenty of competition and smashing to be had. We're also running Ultra SF, Guilty Gear, Tekken, and others. Anybody is invited to join!

There has been talk of getting Melee and/or PM going as well, but only if people express interest. If that sounds like you, by all means, bring a 'Cube or Wii and we'll get those going too.

We had a tourney like a couple weeks ago where we had like thirty people. We ran melee and pm. I cant stress how much you need to join South Dakota Smashers! That is like our primary means of communication. Im actually from Madison, but I know alot of people in sioux falls who play. They also have weekly meetups at lincoln high school! We need to play sometime!

I actually found out that on my own earlier, didn't know it was canceled this week though. That sucks since I'm not going to the tournament I planned on on Saturday.

I only play 4, so you won't need to accommodate much and I can bring my adapter and my own controllers in the future.

With over 140 people registered for the great Revival this weekend in WI, things are looking great for the MW so far and we expect things to be just as crazy up in MN with the Warehouse Throwdown 3.1415!!!

The 2nd leg of the circuit is in S. St. Cloud, MN on March 14th 2015. Registration will end March 6th at 11:59 pm (DIFFERENT THAN POSTED AS OF THIS POST), and the venue fee will increase by $5 on Feb 21st.

@ GarrBear , check out the South Dakota FGC and South Dakota Smash Facebook pages for info on meetups, etc. We run Smash 4 at Galaxy Gaming every other Sunday and there are often Melee, PM, Smash 4, etc. weekly meet ups/tournaments posted in either one of those groups.

Next fight night at Galaxy Gaming is set for May 11, and there is a Smash 4 tournament on the books, so if you play that game, it's a good time to come out and meet new players/test your skills! Hit me up on here if you have any more questions.
