Sound Replacement Code??? (a project idea?)

Well seeing how Phantomwing's is well not making sexy codes, and his 4.0 code is buggier than all heck.

has any one though of making a Sound Replacement code? you know maybe something that acts like the File replacement but specifically on BRSAR files?

i would attempt this process, I also do not have one of the Usb Gecko's to do the job necesserily.

it's just a thought. because it would get rid of the need for riivolution, and i couldn't go back to riivolution even if i wanted to.

anyone ever thought/attempt this?

i have thought of this, but Dantarion is involved with life and with ProjectM. he's already working for a better cause so we can all enjoy that good old fashioned way to smash.

There are however still a lot of people who use GeckoOS/USB-Loader/Etc.

Riivolution is more customizable and works with USB, but Gecko is a bit easier to set up and loads files faster.

For people that use the Alternate Stage Loader, a sound replacement code would be great.

becuase the USB loader is all that i have left after my disc drive died....

if any one has some basic knowledge, please see if it's possible.

If you are using a USB loader, can't you use WiiScrubber to replace the brsar file?

The biggest problem with that is that it becomes so tedious to do.

And the fact you have to extract such a large file just to put a few sounds in is really unappealing.
I don't use Riivolution myself (USB loading is way faster anyhow), so I would love this, if it was ever made.

A code would be nice. I hate how you have to extract the sound file, insert some sounds, wait for the sound file to reinsert back into the ISO, save an edited ISO, and then put the ISO back on your USB. It takes a while >_>

For my old computer that is a 18 hour process. saving the BRSAR is very fast (30 seconds) but the whole ISO process is a whole day thing.

so i was really hoping for a code like this. i would love to ask Dantarion, but he's busy. only if Phantomwings was still around and he dropped off this one last gift from his god like awesomeness.

All the more reason why we should stop asking for codes to be made and make it ourselves.
At this point of time, we need to find the information we need to make the codes we want so we can do it ourselves.

For example, I want to make a code that forces the game to load directly to the main menu at startup instead of that opening movie, but I didn't request it much, cause I know that the members that have the knowledge are busy.
