I just looked up the Wikipedia page for this game. Three things caught my attention very quickly.

After defeating Eggman, Sonic went on vacation for two years...

I don't know why that's of interest to me, but it just...it makes me wonder what they'll do about this time having passed thing. Sonic has always been part of a Comic Book Time style universe, in which time never really passes.

Made me raise an eyebrow.

The second one was this:

According to Bioware, they chose not to make him (Robonick) the main villain, but they want to make him a "more credible bad guy again...

Hohoho. Credible eh? I'd like to see that one done over. Robotnick has been about as dangerous as a caterpiller to Sonic for a decade or so now. I wanna see how that one comes out...

And then:

The game will have fully animated cutscenes.

Hopefully lacking awful animations and voice acting, but otherwise pretty cool.

I may just buy this game.

exactly my thought. the magical kuja lives close to san fransisco, where np's offices are. i live in midwest, so it will take forever to get it.

Wow. Aren't you the optimistic one. :\

BioWare has done nothing but create successful games such as Jade Empire and Mass Effect. If these are the masterminds behind Sonic Chronicles, I believe that the game is very well in good hands.

I just wanna know how the whole idea that Sonic is the speed of sound and does essentialy everything withoit any thought can work in an RPG at all.

You know - where it's slow. And you don't just beat things up without thought...as much.

Only Bioware can pull it off!

If I get this game, one of my files/ playthroughs is definatley gonna have Big the Cat become all-powerful.

Also, I think there is a 90% chance that the shadowy thing on the NP cover will be the main villian. Is it just me, or does that thing look like a cross between Espio the Chameleon and NiGHTS?

Apparantly Shade and Omega are confirmed to be playable.

*Sigh* I was REALLY hoping that Shade would actually remain on the side of bad (well ,okay, they never specifically stated she was evil, but it was certainly implied that she starts off as a villian.
