Hey everyone.

The Sonics boards are currently going through every character as a matchup to determine who has the advantage and why.
It's a fairly in depth analysis and proper reasoning is essential.
And right now, we are up to Samus.
So if you are aware of this matchup, have experience with it please feel free to check out the thread and we will appreciate all the discussion given. It is supposed to be unbiased, so leave your love for Metroid at the door and we can have the most accurate matchup possible. :)

The thread is HERE

THANKS GUYS

Tell them I three-stocked Tenki when playing against his Sonic the first time I brawled with him. Tell them also that he intentionally suicided on his last stock, which resulted the three-stock match, even though he could have attempted to at least KO'd me once. Tell them also that when I brawled against Tenki as Samus against his Sonic on the same stage, Battlefield, he died the same way, even though both Tenki and I are aware that he intended to KO me with his d-air, but d-aired off the stage on the same side like last time. That was ironic. :laugh:

Getting hit/killed by full charged shots and missiles through red latency when you're trying to shield/pshield approach is annoying as Wario running into you with Bike, TL arrows in lag, Ike F-smash, and Sonic's Homing Attack all in the same game. Of course I'd ragecide lol. =l

CA - GA connection, you know? :l

I finally got to play against a decent connection Samus yesterday, but for the Samus side of things, stay aerial. Being near the ground means you'll be grabbed, and being in the air lets you take advantage of Samus's hitstun resistance and quick, lagless aerials `.`;

edit:
vvv
I've said that before, as well ("we had red connection and it felt like offline"), but I realized that it's because I was the one with offensive momentum and I wasn't the one trying to dodge a barrage of moves moves or get out of juggles. You don't ever feel it until you're the one being juggled lol ;]

PS: Try playing quik2288, he lives in CA lol.

I would say, "No Johns," Tenki, but we all know that brawling online is already auto-johned from the start. Still, a red connection means nothing. Really, it doesn't. I fought a friend who has red connection, and our matches feel almost like they're offline. Then, there was this other person that I brawled with, and his connection was green. When I brawled with him, I could feel the lag. If you haven't noticed, sometimes the color of the connection changes.

Um, no. My brother brawled with a Yoshi player recently, and this guy was from Germany. :laugh:

connection speed is main determinant of how laggy a matchll b

the colour is a combination of location and connection speed, so it can be misleading
