However, I will inform you that one character caught even I by surprise, that character was Lucas. Now back to the character list.

Characters:
All SSBM characters with the exception of:

Doctor Mario, Shiek, Game and Watch, Pichu, Marth, and Ness.

Replacements = Paper Mario, Lucas.

New characters:

Black Shadow (From F-Zero series), Gannondorf (Twilight princess outfit), Balloon Fighter, Krystal, Daisy (Separate from Peach "playable Character clone"), Ike, Meta Knight, Sonic***,
*Knuckles, Solid Snake, Didi Kong, Wario, Pokemon Trainer, Zero Suit Samus, Pit, Waluigi, Meowth (possibly), (was on the Nintendo version, but might have been replaced by Pokemon Trainer), and Dark Samus.

For sure: No animal Crossing Characters, and No Ridley.

Final Smash:
Sonic = Supersonic, Knuckles = Master Emerald Punch, New move for Captain Falcon = Dribble Punch (A+B smash), Ike's special move = Sonic Sword Slash.

Seriously... some of your predictions are SO obvious I don't know why you give yourself credit, plus Knuckles, Waluigi and Daisy fail, and fail hard. Bologna. To start with, Marth and G&W have no reason to be removed and many to stay, and Sheik has scant any reason to be removed. Plus your "information" conflicts with the most reliable source of analyzed information we have to date, the icons, as it doesn't account for the icon gap in the Melee sets that could only be G&W's or for the Animal Crossing icon.

In addition you have several ludicrous suggestions for playable characters in there (and in the case of Fire Emblem, lack thereof; the idea that Fire Emblem would drop to one playable character in Brawl when its popularity has only grown since Melee, not to mention that the series itself has doubled in size since then, is utterly laughable), the worst of which is Knuckles. Much as I like him (I prefer him to Sonic, to be honest), he hasn't a chance - even if another Sonic character were getting in, it would be either Tails, his sidekick who has been around as long as his signature Spin Dash move, or Shadow, who for some reason appeals to the younger generation more than either Tails or Knuckles. Knuckles would come third or fourth, but definitely not second. But beyond that, Sakurai & co would be fools to take a second Sonic character over icons like Mega Man, Pac Man, Bomber Man, or any number of others, and as we've seen time and again, they are certainly no fools.

Edit: In addition, looking through your old posts, the only claim you can make is to having predicted Sonic would be in Brawl in general - a claim that hundreds of fans who have done their research since Snake's announcement can make, including myself and many other members of these boards, the NSider boards, the GameFAQs boards, and about any other boards with SSB-based discussion areas. You have no basis of credibility whatsoever, so don't pretend Sonic's update makes anything you say true.

Of course I Sonic was going to be in... that's because I'm working on the game with Icydrifter! You know Icy, I'm Matt from the water cooler! Anyway, Icydrifter is right, all his completely ludicrous decisions for characters in and out is all true, despite going against common sense, and him telling you the most requested character world-wide would be in it is sheer proof! I expect you all to apologize and read them with Icydrifter at work tomorrow.
