Are you SURE that's the translated lyrics ? When finishing the SSE, I remembered "I've heard legend of that person" as the first sentence.

i think its suppose to be about the concept of super smash bros in relation to sse.

the legends of the hero and the villian are either good or evil respectively as said in the first 8 lines or so.
but then heroes and villians become allies to fight tabuu.
