After picking up Brawl again recently, I've found something that could add to Falco's metagme possibly. If this is already known, sorry to fill the borads up.:ohwell:

Anyway, while fooling around in training mode, I started manipulating my lasers from ledge hops. What I found is that you can ledge hop, laser away from the stage and regrab the edge. Even more interesting, is just by a few frames (1-4, idk) is you can even get two lasers out before regrabbing the stage. However, if attempting to two lasers, I found it better to push away instead of down because you need to almost immediatly jump and reverse your lasers without phantasming to your death.

A little difficult to explain, I'll see if I can't get some low quality vid up soon. <_<; I'm seeing it as a new ledge guard option seeing as how your lasers slow any offstage momentum and you get a regrab which grants more ledge invincibility frames.

What's everyone think?

We shouldn't brush ideas like this away though, it wouldn't hurt to mix this up into our playstyle in some friendlies just to test it out.

<3 SuSa's thread which made me say that XD

I do this on occasion when I play with my Falco. If you time it right you can shoot one laser and then have enough time to phantasm back onto the stage rather than needing to go back to the ledge. I also randomly teleported to the stage and shot off a silent laser once, but it was in practice mode (no replays possible) and I've never been able to replicate it.
