How does Smashboards determine which Dragon Ball character gets used as a person's avatar? It could be fun to figure out the algorithm.

Yeah, I saw someone say that they theorized that their new avatar is based on the first letters of their username; I guess that's false. ^^;

What I'm interested in is the full list of possible avatars that a user could have gotten. I wonder if there's any archive for that. (Just like how Reggieboards had a bunch of different Reggie avatars and Crashboards had a bunch of different Crash avatars).
