i use R to z cancle. and i use it for all my arial attacks. i find it extremely convenient. especially when i'm djcing with yoshi; double tap C then double tap R as fast as i can.Do you Z cancel with R or something? The gayest ones to cancel for me are Kirby's drills. At least I always end up with a techchase though, which is good and bad.
ithink pikachu up air doesnt need to be zcanceledI have a lot of trouble with z-canceling Pika's f-air (only when hitting someone), and u-airs really close to the ground. I can SH d-air fastfall u-air with Luigi now with about 60% consistency, but I only get the cancel about 20% of the time.
I know, I meant u-airs in general, especially Mario's and Luigi's.ithink pikachu up air doesnt need to be zcanceled
Tell me about it, the maps are ridiculously huge and multilayered that it is a giant campfest. However I found if you switch to Gorund War it actuallt becomes playable, especially once you get a chopper gunner and swap their spawn points multiple times, hehe.Too bad MW2's online sucks too hard for anyone to care about it or take it seriously
Also, who buys COD4 for the singleplayer...?
I dunno about you guys, but I've been a COD fan sense the first one came out. CoD2 had the best multiplayer. CoD4 had the best singleplayer. CoD4's singleplayer was a tremendous upgrade from the previous games(and from many fps games). It was like you were in a Movie. I literally Wow'd irl when the Nuke went off on that one mission. If MW2 has this same sort of SP, I'm definitely getting it for that.Buying any cod for 1p is stupid, even MW2 was incredibly short albeit had some nice plot twists. Multiplayer is where it's at, and spec ops/zombies for when you have friends. (I don't play it very much, jks.)
Same for me with Pika's fair. I'd sometimes just end up doing a fastfall nair instead of a uair. I can usually cancel the aerials like 40-60% of the time.I have a lot of trouble with z-canceling Pika's f-air (only when hitting someone), and u-airs really close to the ground. I can SH d-air fastfall u-air with Luigi now with about 60% consistency, but I only get the cancel about 20% of the time.
yeah, that is precisely where I have the problem (not during the actual battle surprisingly), every time I try to copy isai's victory dance around the hyrule platforms I always mess up some fastfalled dair retardedly. On topic, I actually find pika's fair easily cancelled, but fast-fall dair difficult. It really sucks when you show boat a stock by trying to do it everywhere in quick success, but then ram your head into the gorund instead.
sorryI know, I meant u-airs in general, especially Mario's and Luigi's.
Wow it's crazy how you don't really notice this stuff until you try it.yeah, that is precisely where I have the problem (not during the actual battle surprisingly), every time I try to copy isai's victory dance around the hyrule platforms I always mess up some fastfalled dair retardedly.
In related news, I've been trying to get this DK celebration ritual down...as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/user/dch111#p/f/32/V3rXFLA8M94
the part where he Usmashes Link from the rapetent, and then proceeds to Nair his way up the platforms ending with a Usmash at the top. Looks so **** cool. I can never do it as quickly and flawlessly as he does it though. Guess those years of experience perfecting BtT/BtP times really pay off...
this is exactly how i feel. i think now the most impresive player to watch is prince. i really wanna see prince vs isai.Yeah, years ago back when I was a noob I was amazed by Isai's videos. Now I'm still impressed because even though I've seen them already, I start noticing more neat things that I didn't notice when I was a noob. Part of why Isai's so popular is that he's fun to watch at all levels. And I can't say that about every good player. Then again, not everyone has as many videos up I suppose...
You hardly used DJCs. You should try to incorporate those into your game.Speaking of prince heres a new video i added. I realized i made many mistakes with Yoshi such as using down+B during unnecessary times and I move slow with him but it was also because my joystick was hella loose

Totally. For example I'm pretty sure I know everything involved in getting that DK dance down: slanted full hop to canceled nair for the first platform, shielddrop to (slanted?) second jump to canceled nair for the other two. By "slanted" I mean the common trick where you hold left/right as you jump to shorten the jump instead of holding left/right after the jump input...the difference is subtle but important for Bonus levels and cool DKs. If they must be slanted to do it as fast as Isai did, that makes it a bit more difficult since you risk messing the nair up.But yeah it's funny that often when you try to do something that you see in a video there's a lot more nuance to getting it right.
Then why does he shield before each hop?it's just normal standing sh nairs
