Some Fox advice needed

I only watched the first video because I gotta go soon, lol. But I noticed a few things, I guess.

1) Stop using get-up attack - I fall prey to this, too, lol. In my head, I think, "wow, this is the best possible option; it can hit the opponent, I get some invincibility frames, and it has deceptively long range." But that's wrong. People can easily hold the shield and then jump OoS and do some stuff or at least jump over you. It's really not that hard to react to. They'll usually space so your attack doesn't hit and prepare for a reaction, too.

2) Vary your recoveries - At around 2:20, you FF'd straight to the ledge. Marth has a lot of options to cover your recoveries. At 2:20, you could have FF'd 27.5 degrees East of North (you'll know what I mean if you look at a controller) and then DI'd onto the ledge. All/most of Marth's edgeguards are pretty laggy so you should be able to get onto the ledge.

Varying recovery is something I noticed once so you just need to be aware of it occasionally. But the first one happens a lot. Try to fix it. Just tech or roll or get up w/o attacking.

Your fox is good, better than mine.

In the Marth MU you should let Marth approach you, get some laser game in there.
Marth grabs a lot, so spotdodge alot.

Thats all I can really say, I should be taking notes from you <3

Once you opponent realizes you are spot dodging, you have a high possibility of getting punished harder. Mix up your shield options. Shine, spot dodge, wavedash oos etc etc. I had a spot dodging phase that worked for a bit, then I got punished really hard so I stopped.

Rolling is alot better than spotdodging. If you want to buffer an evasive option, choose that one.

Even if they know you're going to roll (which is tough because they have to guess betweem spot-dodge/roll), they still have to guess which direction you're rolling in. Thats two 50/50s. Congratulations, you've just made Marth's life more difficult.

Like anything else in smash, don't overuse rolling.

I remember hearing somewhere (I think it was the spacing video) that you shield when you're scared of getting hit and you spotdodge when you're scared of getting grabbed. Like RaynEX said, buffering rolling as the evasive action would be better because neither spotdodging nor shielding serve the purpose of being evasive.
