-The twin maids arrive, insulting him of course, and tell him Roswaal wants to see him. In this occassion to have more time, Subaru asks instead to be allowed to live as a guest instead of a employee-

-He knows that in four days someone is gonna come and kill him like last time... so he gonna use that time to find clues.-

Peridot: On the other hand, Emilia or Puck being the culprit would be a shocking twist...But they seem to be main characters, so they're unlikely to suddenly go down such a villainous route, and after what they've been through together already, I can't see any logical explanation for what their motivation for brutally killing Subaru would be. Unless, of course, whoever's doing this has been possessed or brainwashed into committing the murders. There's a lot of variables to be considered, here!

He wonders how people would think these stories would meassure to some of his homeland, such as the fairy tale of the Red Oni and Blue Oni, a mention that actually peeks Ram's interest-

-Subaru tells the story, about how a red oni wanted to be friends with humans but they were scared of him, so his blue oni friend helped him by staging a fake attack on some village so the red would come save them. Plan worked, but the blue oni moved, knowing being seen with the red one would cause the latter trouble, only leaving a note and saddening him-

-Ram listened to it, concluding it's a sad story, but also one where the characters were all fools. Subaru admits he likes the story, but agrees on that-

(I remember meeting some of the other Pokemon when I first showed up. They did tell me everyone here has a lot of adventures...And that they had to do a lot of fighting against evil and other stuff...)

Rem uses magic to heal Subaru's wound, as she wants to interrogate him, asking him if he is working for any of Emilia's rivals, who hired him, and most importantly, wether or not he belongs to a cult that worships the Witches of Sin-

-Of course he replies no to the first two and that he has no idea of the latter, but Rem keeps painfully hitting him with her spiked ball and thinks he's a liar... The reason? She says there's a stench on him that only belongs to those who have authorities granted by the Witches-

-She furiously tells him she can't stand having someone associated with the Witch's cult near to them, especially since they did something horrid to Ram-
