His mind functioned, he could move around and talk and think again...But he couldn't feel...He couldn't feel true love, comfort, or joy, or relief. Not even sadness. Empathy, sympathy...It was all gone...That's what happened to him since had the DETERMINATION to keep persisting in a new form, but not the SOUL to be his complete-self. He lost his emotions.
