-Later that night, Tritonio serves the kids some bowels of quinoa macro, but is unable to find Anne until Sprig informs him that she wanted to be alone. Upon going to the top of the tower serve it to her, he tells her that she must eat, saying that only a fool fight son an empty stomach-

-There, Anne has the following to say: "Tritonio, can I ask you something? Why don't you like me?" Tritonio is surprised, but casually answers that he actually does, but Anne argues otherwise, saying "Oh, come on. You're always being super tough on me for no reason. Just like my teachers back home. Blech. Tritonio simply chuckles, and happily explains "Oh, Anne. If I seem tougher on you, it's not because I don't like you. It's because I see a girl who is not living up to her full potential". Anne herself is surprised but moved to hear that, and even more so as he states " Indeed. In you, I sense someone that, with a little effort could achieve greatness. And I am sure your teachers back home felt the same way", which is enough to make Anne sincerly smile-

-Sayoriis awed and asks why she didn't tell Monika that, Natsuki says because she's been so judgmental she didn't want to say something she'd want to hear, not wanting to give her that satisfaction. And if she knew she was into writing, then she'd be like everyone else and try to push her away from manga in favorof something more 'mature', Sayori understanding her point...-

Anne rather darkly says "That Anne is dead and buried" with a close-up of her face, before telling them to follow her. This is enough to convince the adventurous Sprig to give it a shot, while Polly's content because she still gets to use her Boomshrooms. It's evident that Anne has grown really attached to the one teacher she's ever been able to understand, not to mention the pride she's gotten from actually learning and making a teacher proud-

There are bandages on his ankle, and in a British accent, lies and asks the conductor "Please, governor, I'm a poor orphan boy who done and twisted his wee ankle on these here train tracks..."-

-The conductor, brought to tears, immediately calls for two guards from another car, both of whom are military Toad soldiers from Toad Tower, to help him, one of whom remarks "Another day, another wounded orphan to move", further hinting that this isn't the first time they've seen a scenario like this. Shortly thereafter, Anne and Polly sneak onto the engie car, and by the time the guards realize Sprig's ankle isn't actually twisted, they've gotten it moving. The three toads attempt to shout at them and stop it, but it's not enough as Sprig simply trips the conductor with his tongue, making him fall on the other guards.-

-Even then, the conductor manages to climb aboard the lead car at the last second, drawing a sword of his own and yelling "I trusted you!" as he swings it, but is easily defeated by Anne, who ultimately kicks him off the train, angrily yelling "Orphan!" as he does. Anne's only comment is "Man, these guys are really good actors", but Polly tells her to never mind that so they can go claim the jewel and pass the test, so soon, they climb to the top of the train and reach the car containing it. At Anne's notice, Polly arms herself with some Boomshroms and blasts the door to it open, allowing them to enter the car and find the rare gem in question, a ruby known as the Tiger Moth's Eye-

-The kids are excited, thinking they've passed the test, with Anne even remarking that "Big T" is gonna be so proud of them. They soon hear him shout "Proud is an understatement!", to their hype, and he enters the car himself to obtain the gem. He then goes on to say "You've all done so well. Ah, here it is, the Tiger Moth's Eye. Now, I have one more question. What was the first lesson I taught you?" Anne, actually being enthusiastic about a class for once, raises her hand and says "Oh! oh oh oh! Trust no one!" Cue Tritonio saying "Bingo" before casually leaving the car and locking the trio within it with some steel bars. Sprig and Polly gasp in shock, and his only remark upon Anne questioning him is to say "Sorry, kids, but I never could've robbed this train by myself. And now that I have what I want, I'll be going. Give my regards to the guards!", before leaving with yet another laugh-
