His character's among the strongest in the show, imo. He really stood up for what was right despite previously being an enemy to both Rin and Shirou, and the way he called out EMIYA for his betrayal, and later straight-up defeating him in battle, like, damn...He utterly trashed the guy.

And he only got better from there right up until his last second on screen.

-It's like an entire world based around advanced computer technology...-

-...And the fact that it's called a "Dark World" only adds to the mystery-
