Some characters don't work!?

Yea I don't get it...
So some of my characters don't work. I don't know what happened but its only some.
They are the following:
Ike
Donkey Kong
Mario
Link

Those are really the only ones I have tried...if anyone can help PLEASE tell me!

Please give more info? Where did they not work? And what did you do exactly. Was it Brawl+ or Balanced Brawl?

Like when I try playing as them in a Brawl, I can fight them but not be them. And no its not Brawl+

I've heard of people having this problem, and it's most likely because your disk is scratched, or your wii's sensor is dirty.

Anyway, hope it works, Pinutk. My friend has the same problem. He was trying to unlock ROB, and it froze for him. He got B+, and now he cannot choose rob, squirtle, ivysaur, or charizard. It really sucks.

EDIT- I just noticed something, I.Kirby. You can't main Pichu in brawl, same with mewtwo.
