My muscles are really sore, all my bones hurt, I can't sleep because of the pain and I feel tired constantly because I have the flu. Still a better experience than apex.

I got the vaccine earlier in the winter. I guess it goes to show that no matter how much effort you put into something or how much you prepare for it life just tells you to go **** yourself. Some things are not meant to be.

the good news is, this week should be pretty ****ing awesome for a number of reasons, namely because of the food in my fridge, going to a lounge, and dinner with my best friend

also that dunk contest sucked. this new format is wack as ****

winter needs to end

So CPU jigglypuff used rest against me once again.

Pwn. Were you beating up a poor, defenseless CPUff to get out your anger from our 4 frame smash session where you kept losing by the most unlucky flukes or narrowest margins?

I play CPUs 95% of the time I play this game. And I don't have anger, I lose to every player I play against so I don't really mind. I'm too impatient to be good anyway.

But CPUs so boring to play -_-. I doubt you lose to erry player, since you pulled off some awesome **** with fox. I do see the impatience though, I sometimes saw you just shining repeatedly at the bottom without paying attention. The game isn't about winning anyways, at least to normal people lol.

I'm in the same boat with Sangoku. 95% of the time I play CPUs. I've really only done p2p a couple of times, but I should try it more often

But if you join our boat, we won't have enough room for lvl 9 CPUs :(

And yeah Cobr, I've just been really occupied but I'll try to practice more when I get on break

IDK why but playing CPUs really bothers me, they're just too damn weird. I use training mode if I really want to play alone.

^ I use it more to practice comboing in unique stage situations and percents so I can more accurately emulate a real match.

But I totally understand, since the more familiar you are with the game, the more unbearable the AI gets since you become so acquainted to it

Playing CPU is frustrating and playing training mode is boring, pick one. I still think a few games against a CPU is alright, as long as you find the good balance between winning and playing naturally. Training mode is fine if I have a specific combo I want to train, but beating up the dummy randomly is the worst for me.

i find it more fun to mess around in training mode for ~20 minutes when i have nothing else to do usually listening to music then investing time playing online

The only fun time I can remember against the computers was making playing them into drinking game. Find a friend and choose a character and move. We usually played Pikachu down-B. You are then only allowed to attack your opponents using that move. Play vs. a team of two of the same lvl 9 characters. Consume one drink each after defeating each team, until you've successfully downed a 12 pack and dominated.

The only time I can stand watching CPU is watching hype matches like Kero vs. Lvl 1 computer. Such a nail biter!

Sounds like a great idea, but if you have a friend over, why not just play them? And if you want to get drunk why not play them in drunk smash sets?

Good point. I came up with the idea with my sister, who refuses to play 1v1 anymore cause I pwn her too badly.

what about the part where we went to the diner? :(
That was completely outside of apex, doesn't count towards apex

I guess I'll give one of the many reasons apex sucked ass for me. I wanted to be able to show my friends something about me going to apex for 64. So far the only "proof" that I can show people and friends is my tag on some ****ing post on the middle of a relatively unknown forum.

Your hate for Apex is because you didn't get a photoshoot? Sorry but @ The Star King The Star King already had them all booked.

The prepositional form of "to" does not modify the determiner for the desired effect of "a lot", and thus requires the adverb "too".

Level 9s are too much fun to beat down.

I'm going to have to assume that's because Kero has Poster of the Year locked up, right Han Solo?

Show them my video logs. I think you're in 14, 18, and 19.
"Hey guys, did you know I went to the biggest 64 tournament ever in the country? Here, look at this video where I'm being drunk in some hotel"

I appreciate the sarcasm as much as anyone else, so funny. I went to apex for 99% SSB and 1% every other game I entered. This feels like one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. Want to know why? Google "fireblaster apex" and look at the only video results that come up.

I saw literally everyone else I knew in 64 make it onto the stream and then I was denied stream time myself because "sorry you're not good enough to be on stream". Then for a game I practiced for maybe a total of 5 hours in 3 months, I made it onto the stream twice. If I had even spent half the time I did in 64 as I did in that other game I probably would have made it to top 32 and maybe top 16. It feels like I completely wasted my time on the wrong game of a community I don't belong in.

Nah that can't be it. I'm just mad at apex because people didn't take pictures of me.
