This may be because I play other fighting games or something, but does anyone else feel like the game runs slowly when you're playing it and then when you watch a video of the same match you just played it looks a lot faster than you remembered?

Your adrenaline kicks in while playing which makes it seem it like its running slower. I remember reading somewhere that the amount of FPS the human eye can see increases with stress, making time seem to run slower. Watching a video isn't the same.

Every time I've ever seen gameplay recorded I've been a part of I feel that way, but apparently science explains that!

I've definitely made fun of TANK outside of the social thread.

Yeah, I always feel like that. Especially at 30fps. Maybe 'cause its, idk, "less smooth."
Also I think not hearing the buttons always makes it look faster... hard to explain lol.

I couldn't either, and usually all the sheeps were stopped at the exact same spot

At least I'm consistent I guess, but I feel the need for Turbo-Charged Cheetah Speed

So, I'm on the edge of my seat hoping for this cheap cop of Smash 64 on ebay (SO sick of computer play). I'm seriously twitching over it. I can't wait to have my hands on a proper conroller again...

It's weird, I feel like some sheep go faster than others. And same sheep position doesn't mean same time.

I think to get Rocketing rabbit you need avg time lower than 0.2. I got 0.2002 and got bob cat.

lol, pretty sure you have to gamble to get cheetah

was watching Scar and some d00d play 64, after the Kirby vs Fox on Saffron, the Kirby player says: "I think Kirby is really good, Ithink that Ness is better though"
had Scar replied with a serious "yeh... but only if you know how to use him" it would've been gold, I'd have made a ness combo video just to use that quote

So I was playing 64 with some of my scrubby friends and one of them taught me something I didn't know

if you throw a fan against the right wall of Hyrule it slides against it and rapidly + repeatedly makes the hit-wall sound, sounds like a muffled jackhammer or something

inb4 everyone but me knew this. Anyway I thought it was nice I learned something new about the game from a total noob :)

Apparently like Louisana and Missouri have a decently large 64 scene that's kinda separate from us? dunno
If that's the case, I need to find them.

I'll put it this way, I've been around to tons of small scenes for many games and am very much a face no one would recognize. I LOVE smash but am disabled (my hands especially) and Smash 64 is the one game I can still keep really good pace in (plus it's my favorite) so I decided to become more invested here.

There's the "who I am and where I came from" I guess.

I was on crappy campus internet and I read Koro's post and I was like "wow really dude?", and then the troll face loaded and I was like "oh". His post was enhanced by slow loading, amazing.
