Sup lily lovers.

So i've been talking to this girl lately. She texts me tonight and is all like, "i'm going out with a few friends tonight, you should come." So i'm all like, "cool, i'd love to:)" (******* love smiley faces) ANYWAY. We go do whatever in town and then we head over to one of her friends' house. We're all there hanging out and what not and then this d00d goes, "guys... we should totally play super smash brothers on the nintendo 64."

I had only played two games before realizing that ******* don't like it when you choose ssb over them.

R.I.P. pwning her friends in smash.

that nonsense about improving is just that: nonsense. there's no denying that some characters are broken as ****. it's objective.

The 64 section has been reduced to nothing more than people ******** about m2k's play style, complaining about kirby's utilt, begging hyrule to be banned, and arguing about what the penality for a pause should be.

I come and try to lighten the mood with something positive we all can enjoy and NOPE. LOCKED. Lol **** this **** man.

ok, lemme edit this: kirby being broken or whatever is not the point

i'm assuming we all consider this game competitively viable, and unless you're gonna drop the controller if the opponent picks kirby, whining about kirby is not good 4 u

it's ok to whine (i luv whining + internet humor), but only if DEEP DOWN you know you gotta fight the power, though you could argue that the forum bullying might make weak minds shy away from picking kirby. not m2k, he's too shameless lol

tl;dr: if you wanna get better, you can't be a scrub

Man, I need to go pick up Smash 64 on the virtual console next month, I'm sick of my computer screwing up when I play. It's such a piece of crap.

Anyways, this board is a bit stale on new topics but it's not easy to keep fresh with such an old game unless tons of people are flooding here to play. We gotta get this at next Evo :awesome:

At least I'm being proactive and such, I'm making a mod to bring life to the game, whatcha'll doin' here?

Also, this is just a rumor, but I heard that Sangoku once left in the middle of the date cuz the girl was talking about something non-smash related.

You can if it's not offensive and somewhat related to a given thread (like I did with you in the van thread). Actually I'm not an offtopic nazi; a lot of times I notice a thread going offtopic and I don't infract everyone/move posts to social threads. I believe I'm still the kind to let everyone breathe.
