Those 2 statements aren't contradictory. I give credit to people for beating me with kirby and respect them as opponents, but it doesn't mean I can't realize that if kirby didn't exist suddenly a lot of other characters become viable.

So I just finished watching all of the Thanks for Playing vids. I don't know why people hate on Pika dittos so much. All of the NON-HYRULE Pika dittos with A$/Kero/Sensei/other other good players were exciting as hell to watch. Very intense. Hyrule, on the other hand, is a totally different story...

For me, whether or not Hyrule is picked is by far the biggest determinant of entertainment value. There are some matchups that are exciting on Hyrule but let's just say they don't involve Pika or Kirby and thus they never happen in tourneys
