It's a great idea, but Namco, if they were the developer, still needs to license out tons of characters. It might even harder for them to do so than if Sakurai was making it, since they don't have an instant Nintendo catalog to go off of. Namco doesn't own the actual properties, but are the ones who are allowed to easily work with tons of anime properties. At best they'd get a slightly lower licensing price.

If Sakurai and Namco worked on it, they'd be able to do it a bit easier, but it's still a lot of licensing to do for tons of characters. Namco can only do so much on their own.

Again a shame because IMO if anything to do different from Smash an vs. crossover fighting game would be very ideal but never the less its all up to Sakurai and so I'll respect his decisions.

It has literally nothing in common with Smash save being a crossover. Lol.

All anime games make the mistake of being overly complex fighters that aren't easy for people to pick up like Smash.

There's not to my knowledge at least been a pick up and go anime crossover ever.

That's why people ask for the anime icons in Smash in my opinion. They know they don't technically fit, but there's a desire for an easy party style of game with anime characters.

I believe the DS Jump Stars was a platform fighter too

Also last year I played some Naruto game and it was simple enough for ,e to understand and wreck **** with Tenten

They've been making anime games since ****in' 80's dude. They're never gonna lose the license.

That actually looks honestly pretty good. Let's see if I can tell what's all in there, besides the chicken; carrots, potatoes, onions, right? Did I miss anything else? Not sure what kind of sauce it is though...

I was more using those two games as exemple that Sakurai doesn't hate anime in general due to their aesthetic and such.

That, and I know that, for exemple, Japanese refer to our cartoons as Anime, because Anime over there refer to all animations in general, yet, us western peoples make a clear difference between what is made by the West and what is made in the East.

Tho as I write this, maybe that wasn't the best exemple I could have take, so, my bad if my points weren't good.:mybodyisreggie:

Speaking of anime what are you thoughts on Smash possibly getting an anime? Not saying it will happen, that's impossible now, but I'm just saying it as a hypothetical situation. What would the plot be and what would it happen?

Why it's impossible now? I mean, I don't consider it remotely likely due to the tons of licensing. It's why Sakurai practically said that idea of getting the same characters in the next game is highly unlikely due to how much licensing there is.

But otherwise, why wouldn't it?

As for the plot, I think each season could slowly introduce it via each game. With multiple Seasons for Smash 4 and Ultimate. Brawl has enough to potentially justify two seasons. I feel something like a more "save the world plot" could still work. It's a fighting game that doesn't have an easy plot outside of the SSE and Spirits at best.

I saved and made alot of different files at different point in time while I was working on this project, when everything was over, I just put them all one by one in a single file in order and the rest was done.

So, if you want to do the same, save your drawing while giving them different name and such, (Like Ridley01, Ridley02, etc...) and when the drawing is done, go to ezgif and put the files in order, and if I'm not mistaken, you should get something similar to what I did.
