I don’t know if they still do but Syfi was airing episodes of it for some reason over here, so if you have that channel maybe it’s still on there. I don’t know if the HBO Max deal affected that though.

ngl if it's true AND we get a Smash reveal I'm gonna be ecstatic. But I usually don't put much weight on leaks so it's a "it'll happen if it happens" mood for me.

Well, consider this.


These guys are the same ones who have been calling the dates of the last couple Directs, and ResetEra has a very strict "No fake leaks" policy. If they were bull****ters, they'd be banned, but they've proven themselves to be credible leakers time and time again.

Probably shoulda emphasized that by "not putting weights on leaks" I moreso mean "I don't really go outta my way to look at them, and take them with a hugeee grain of salt"

Like, I see the evidence, and I understand there's a high chance it's true, but I'm not gonna necessarily trust it entirely until after-the-fact. I don't want to hype myself up and then only be met with disappointment when the leaks turn out to be wrong, which is still possible. Unlikely? Yes. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna get myself hyped up for a news dump that we don't have official confirmation on justtt yet.

I'm wary about trusting these guys on specifics, TBH.

They've been calling Directs all year, and every time they've claimed they were Generals when they've ended up something else. I trust them to get dates, but their track record with content and specifics is pretty awful from what I've seen. :drshrug:

True, very true.

But at the same time, I'm a broken record in saying this, but there's gonna be a new wave of Amiibo in Japan come next month, I don't see a world where we get the new Amiibo but don't get a character, this pattern has held up since Piranha Plant came out back in Feb 2019.

I’m thinking some of it has to due with la corona and Nintendo changing plans; how NateDrake and Kelios reacted to the partner showcase last month really made it look that way. These guys are usually accurate, and this time they seem more confident + ZhugeEX seems to believe it too, with KingZell thinking so as well (don’t remember if he backed up the July stuff and March mini or not).

Oh no, I agree completely: Fighter #7 is definitely coming next month if patterns hold.

However, it's entirely possible next week is a Partner Showcase and then #7 gets a Sakurai Presents. That's what I'm expecting personally, anyways: Looking at Nintendo's behavior the past few months, I don't think they have a ton to definitively show at the moment. Plus, dropping Pikmin 3 via tweet earlier this month makes a General look super sketch, and we have leakers from earlier this year calling that major announcements like that would be done via tweet shadow drops and that there was no E3 replacement Direct planned for summer.
