I'm feeling optimistic for the first time in 11 days. Honestly been a sad case all week and then some, but the camera caught many pictures of my lost dog last night. She's warmed up to the trap, so it's time to finish setting it up and finish the job. I'm hoping it works.

Here’s something cool! A 2D animated short I voice in! Both of my lines are recycled from the game, but it’s still very cool to see. I’m also a 3D animator for the actual game itself, and we have a massive update coming out today!

Bought a HMD1 so I could start playing my Switch on my TV. Found out what I thought was a controller that came with my switch was a charger. So I have to buy a Switch controller in order to play on my TV and another USB to plug it into my controller.

Also decided to buy a copy of Smash Ultimate for my brother. Didn't occur to me until now so it'll be a late birthday present for him.

So just came back from a pretty good day. Went into the city centre for the first time in five months, went to hospital. Tests were good and felt great being able to speak to a doctor about my mental issues. Going to continue it on Monday via phone.

Then met with my best friend for the first time in about 5/6 months. Simply put, us two eating Katsu curry at one of our favourite food places (forgot to photograph the food!) and chatting felt great again. The two events has been a sense of normalcy again. Makes you appreciate some things.

And to turn to you guys, thank a lot of you friends on here. I said it last night but I'll say it again.

I'm doing alright.

I still find it hard to believe that a few of them are the age they are. The two voice actor brothers on here especially. They are way more mature than I was at that age.

And dude, I'm 23 and still finding my footing. I'm going on welfare benefits and trying to get over that it doesn't mean I've lost at life when people are my age are in university or doctors or technicians etc. In fact, globally I'm doing better than at least 6 billion others considering the hand I've been given. Something a lot of people tend to forget in our developed countries.

Aw man, I asked my friend what anime he would want to watch. Being a horror fan, I'm surprised he didn't choose it. He was like nope, too much.

I also told him the premise of Made in Abyss and Humanity has Declined and he loves it (although former is a bit much at times). Slowly I'm corrupting him into watching anime. Now my other IRL friend needs to be corrupted.

Any tips for the Yellow Devil in Mega Man 11? I’ve died to this guy more then any other boss in the game because of that damn attack he does. I just can’t get the pattern.

It's been a while since I've played that game, but apparently, his weakness is Chain Blast, though you could just hit him with a charged buster shot. I'm not sure if you're referring to him splitting apart and reforming or his Gear ability when you say "that damn attack", but Speed Gear should help in either case. (also, you can buy E-Tanks, can't you? I'm pretty sure that's an option)

If it's the Gear attack, it looks like they move in the same pattern every time, so if you stand in front of where they initially land, you should be safe for the first bit. It looks like you can jump over them if you jump forward when they run back to where they started, but I'm not sure how consistent it is - the person in the video that I'm watching keeps getting hit at least once.

It's enjoyable so far. The body horror IS something else though. Although, since I have been super stressed lately, I'm able to run with it better than expected because of emotional numbness that comes and goes in waves. It still gets freaky, though.
