Yup, that was my goal. But as it turns out, I put Bonanza Bros. on it twice, so I went ahead and added Toma from Shining Force EXA as an additional character. I also considered Ristar, but I think he'd look weird from behind, Neff from Altered Beast, though I didn't really think he'd fit well in a vehicle, and bringing Zobio and Zobiko back, but I really feel like House of the Dead works best with a track, because we're there for the environment, not the characters.

Blaze was on my SEGA vs. Capcom base roster so I had to be fair to Silver here. Besides, Blaze is cool, so it's only natural you have to pay to get her.
It's funny. Ganondord did the same thing to Young Link, specifically in OOT. And did that to Zelda too apparently, when he took over the kingdom. Note that even with the split timelines about, he still killed the Deku Tree either way. So at most Zelda's father was spared. I mean, countless guards too at the castle, when he completely changed it. ...Maybe those Iron Knuckles are possessed guards? It's clearly a thing in canon, as Nabooru was an Iron Knuckle. And Twinrova taught Ganondorf magic.
You'd think he'd vouch for Ridley a little, since he ruined two people's lives. Ironically he didn't in Wind Waker and would've made more races live by reducing the waters. Since the waters killed most of the Gorons and forced the Zoras to evolve into Rito. We do see Rito and Zora can live separately too in BOTW, so the waters didn't actually do much beyond stop Ganondorf temporarily at best. What they needed was a hero again.
I'll indulge you. I put together my dream roster for a third game in the series. That said, you know my more conservatist, "quality over quantity" style, so I limited myself to 40 characters total after DLC.
Basically, base roster is the size of Transformed's full roster, plus an additional six DLC characters. I trimmed the unnecessary fat (read: unneccessary and unfitting guest characters: Wreck-It Ralph, Danica Patrick, Yogscast, Team Fortress) and stuck to a few rules: One character per non-Sonic franchise as in the first game, any SEGA-owned property (including acquired ones like Atlus-owned series and Puyo Puyo) are allowed, what minimal guest characters are allowed must have at least some underlying history with SEGA or the SEGA brand, and also must be game characters, and absolutely no console-exclusive characters. Consumers should have access to the full package.
With that in mind, the roster is:
1. Sonic the Hedgehog
2. Miles "Tails" Prower
3. Knuckles the Echidna
4. Amy Rose
5. Shadow the Hedgehog
6. Rouge the Bat
7. Team Chaotix
8. Silver the Hedgehog
9. Dr. Eggman
10. AiAi
11. Amigo
12. Billy Hatcher
13. Beat
14. Ulala
15. Alex Kidd
16. Ryo Hazuki
17. Jacky & Akira
18. B.D. Joe
19. Vyse
20. Toma
21. ChuChus
22. Bonanza Bros.
23. Gilius Thunderhead
24. Joe Musashi
25. NiGHTS
26. Alis Landale
27. Kazuma Kiryu
28. Sakura Shinguji
29. Selvaria Bles
30. Arle Nadja
31. Segata Sanshiro/AGES
32. Toejam & Earl
33. Bayonetta
34. Joker
And the DLC consists of:
35. Metal Sonic
36. Blaze the Cat
37. Axel Stone
38. Earthworm Jim
39. Football Manager
40. Fan-Poll Character
A few things to note: If you've got a green border, you're a DLC character. If you have a yellow border, then you've got a "legacy" costume - something that transforms the character into a different one from their series with a similar body structure and a few minor gameplay tweaks.
In this case:
Bayonetta > Jeanne
Morrigan > Lilith
Sakura Shinguji > Sakura Amamiya
Agent G > Isaac Washington
Frank West > Chuck Greene
Ryu > Ken
NiGHTS > Reala
Phoenix Wright (& Maya Fey) > Apollo Justice (& Trucy Wright)

I got a question for you guys based on the video below (you might want to make some popcorn.)
Do you agree with this guy's criticisms on Sword and Shield and if not, what do you disagree with and why?
I cannot answer this myself due to me not playing these games (the controversies scared me off.)
Sword and Shield is NOT a bad game, not at all. The problem is that The Pokemon Company is rolling in it. I’m talking they have literally one of the biggest multimedia franchises that is only rivaled by that of Marvel and Star Wars and could legitimately drop a couple billion dollars on a Pokémon Game project and still pull a hefty profit and yet we still, 24 Years later, task one of Nintendo’s smallest teams with taking over the near entirety of the project with only assistance by other, smaller, teams and thus we end up with games that are smaller and overall more disappointing than can be reasonably expected for a franchise of Pokémon’s caliber.
Pokémon CAN be done better, CAN be done bigger, CAN be revolutionary once more, but because of the truth spoken by everyone “People will buy it no matter what” we are stuck with ONLY Game Freak and Creatures doing ALL the work on EVERY Pokémon game when reasonably multiple other studios could assist as well, including Nintendo themselves and make a truly revolutionary game but they just don’t. Really even without the studios all that I think Creatures and Game Freak could make a truly spectacular Pokémon game but one of the biggest things is they don’t have the time. With releases every year, two years of lucky, there really isn’t enough time to really push Game Freaks true potential.

If we do get assists in the style of MvC1, I could see Alex Kidd being one of those due to the simple moveset he has in his main games. Maybe Billy Hatcher too.

I know that. I just went and trimmed a bunch of fat on mine. It's sitting at 84 and that's with the caviot that it's reusing every asset from the last 3 Sumo Digital Racers. I've been making an effort to try to reign myself in in recent roster projects. That being said, especially for a kart racer where a lot of the characters in it have already been done before and require WAY less work then a fighting game character, I think they can be a bit bigger then 40 characters total.

I wanted to include characters who I felt could fit more naturally into a more traditional fighting game as opposed to a more Smash-Bros. style game (which is one reason I included Blaze at all), which is why you're seeing less "cartoony" characters. I personally love Super Monkey Ball, but I couldn't in good faith put AiAi there, for example.
I figured it would play more in line with MvC2/MvC3/MvCI style.

Even if you're reusing assets, you still have to do updates to the models and animations or risk coming off as lazy. Take Mario Kart 8 and Deluxe as an example. Even in deluxe we only got five new characters (though we admittedly probably could've gotten more if they'd added less tracks). And on that list, which is one of the biggest rosters in a racing game and reused/updates a lot of pre-existing assets, we still only have a roster of 42 (not including alternate costumes). And that's with Nintendo money backing for it. SEGA doesn't have the same legacy behind them (despite their list of IPs).

They didn't add any new tracks to deluxe. They added a handfull of battle arenas.... or maybe all of them, was battle mode new in deluxe? But the only tracks in 8 Deluxe are the ones from the Wii U game.

That’s kinda the approach I take with some of my fan project ideas, I don’t want to overbloat an game I have in mind, but I wanna get as much material as I can while still keeping somewhat realistic expectations, and for the most part I feel like I’m getting better with that.
Samus was also raised by the Chozo later. Batman with his butler as a parental substitute. Superman's original parents died, but his adoptive human parents are usually alive in each adaption.
It's common enough. Besides, the actual point was people lost their parents or parental substitutes. Having new ones doesn't mean they didn't lose them. Young Link is an odd one where he lost both. We don't know what happened to his mom, but she's outright gone either way. And then he lost his adoptive dad in the Deku Tree. So... there's some interesting examples of how bad it can get, heh.

My favourite action movies are Robocop 1, Predator, the original Transformers animated movie, Bumblebee, Godzilla vs Megalon, Godzilla King Of The Monsters, Rambo and Creed.

Are the last 3 really considered action? I always considered giant monsters its own genre and Creed more of an drama given its about Boxing and that's what Rocky was mostly about then anything.
Out of that list, I've only seen Robocop 1, the seventh and eighth Fast and Furious movies, and Hobbes and Shaw - I've been meaning to watch Cobra for a while, but I wasn't sure if Robocop 2 and 3 were good or "so bad it's good". I'll have to watch the second one some time, at least.
I've thought about watching the first Fast and Furious movie, to see where the series started and how it got to Idris Elba as a nanomachine-powered cyborg declaring that he's black Superman.
Depends on the project. Though in my case, I try to aim around that area.
-My Sonic fighting game has 33 characters I want to prioritize but with the other potential characters I had in mind, it only hits 45
-My MKart9 roster has 48 at base with a large number of possibilities for DLC
-My Smash-style Pokémon fighter probably has the most with 68 at base and potentially 8 open slots more for DLC

I suppose. It's just, as someone who is pretty much a Laurie Loner in every game, more characters means more game play time and I'm always gonna want a lot.

Its amazing how the Fast and Furious series started. It began about stealing VHS players from racing to suddenly government spies preventing WWIII to eventually cybernetically enhanced superbeings.
So dumb I love it!
As for RoboCop 2 and 3. I enjoyed those two. 2 I think is an underrated sequel and although people did not like 3, I personally think its an timewaster at best. Definitely a lot better then the 2014 remake.

Oddly enough, Bumblebee and the original animated movie are two of the few Transformers movies that I haven't seen. (I watched the first four Michael Bay ones) I've heard that Bumblebee was supposed to be better, but I don't remember why I didn't get around to watching it.
I haven't seen a Godzilla movie before; not sure which one I should start with.

I watched Bumblebee some weeks ago and I can confirm It is really good.
Not just because of the wonderful intro scene at Cybertron, but also because all the characters are actually well written and the action scenes have better direction (there's never a point where you get Lost during the fights and can't see who is who).
My only nitpick is that sometimes It reminded me too much of the Iron Giant but other than that I would really reccomend It if you want a Transformers movie which takes a lot of stuff from the 80s incarnations really well and develops the characters great!
Regarding Godzilla there's two ways to go with It: if you want a more serious movie start with the original 1950s movie or Shin Godzilla and if you want a more campy and silly movie I personally suggest Godzilla vs Megalon. Not the pinneacle of writting and has a lot of silly moments (such as Godzilla sliding with his tail), but still a really fun and enjoyable time.
