Warner Bros. absolutely rivals Disney in terms of having an extensive backlog of classic franchises, and is pretty much Disney's biggest competition (they pretty much have everything that Disney has), so it's a real wonder why they didn't capitalize off of Kingdom Hearts fame.

They're sitting on a gold mine in terms of crossover potential.

That's for the trailer. Turns out we'll have to wait until August 2021 to play them because every time someone says "Wow almost One Month left." The character gets delayed a day.

The closest thing we got to a full WB crossover was Punch Time Explosion, and Injustice 1&2 with the heavy amounts of crossover characters.

Which is really sad.

Never said people couldn't be happy. I'm looking forward to the character myself cause I think ARMS is pretty neat. But seeing the same post 20 times in the same week is mildly annoying and I'm poking fun at it.

I love batman in media dedicated to him. Beware the Batman, Batman: The Animated Series, and the Arkham games. And his jaded mentor roll in Batman: The Brave and the Bold was genius. But, the overprevelence of his side characters in things that are supposed to be celebrations of ALL of DC Comics, like Injustice, is frustrating to someone who loves most other DC Headliners more then Batman comparatively.

Batman is the 2nd most profitable superhero of all time (behind Spider-Man unsurprisingly), so it makes sense for the rest of the Batsy characters to get spoiled just as much (especially Joker, Harley, Robins, Batgirls, and...more characters)

That was fun to simply remove the Background from. The only two animals in Quest. Both around Melrode. Coincidentally there's a floating spirit nearby each one. Albeit, there's two sheep and one horse. I have to double check how much the Gameboy remake has. They're the most boring NPC's but at least have dialogue(and technically speaking have different sprites/models as well, which means I more or less would have to make a page for either them or really boring NPC's who don't add to the lore. Either one).

Almost finished watching Nichijou. I'd give it 9 out of 10.

Imagine if messed up and bizarre object placements in Katamari Damacy was made into an anime and you're halfway there.

I've started reading Dorohedoro.

I wasn't expecting to like it so much but I'm really enjoying the dark and grim setting combined with rather silly characters. Not to mention it's pretty unique as far as urban fantasies go.

It doesn't, you're right, but it's also something you just kinda have to accept.

In a perfect world, businesses wouldn't think with profit first and want to appeal to more niche markets to make the niche mainstream, but, niche doesn't print money. You can say if they just gave them a chance, then they wouldn't be niche but, comic book sales aren't great to begin with, and a lot of series don't make it through their initial run before getting canned.


And then you have evergreen series like Batman and Spider Man, which, they're too big to fail, effectively, compared to... Aquaman, who, despite being re-imagined from "Haha funny talks to fish underwear man" aaaaaaaaages ago, still is ridiculously niche.


I'd love DC to take risks on their smaller series, but they're no different than say, Nintendo, and how Nintendo handles its niche series, like F-Zero, Star Fox, Metroid, etc.


Sure, sometimes Nintendo will be brave and you get Kid Icarus: Uprising... but othertimes you get Star Fox Zero.

I wasn't expecting to like it so much but I'm really enjoying the dark and grim setting combined with rather silly characters. Not to mention it's pretty unique as far as urban fantasies go.

I started reading that when the anime was announced.

The art was all over the place and I didn't always find it easy to follow along but what I read was enjoyable. I should get back to it at some point.

It's good to be confident in marketing but I feel like they released a beta product as a complete service and just gave up on it when it failed to gather a significant following.
