I've known a girl since elementary school whose name is Avery, so I'm used to it being a girls' name. Though, I think I remember a boy in one of my high school classes named Avery.

That said, Avery from SwSh has to be one of my least favorite characters now.

My main team is Spider-Man, Venom, Storm and Psylocke. I think the team's pretty well balanced since Spider-Man's my Jack of all trades/Crowd Control character, Storm's my Zoner, Venom's my Tank and Psylocke's my Glass Cannon.

I don't have a single main team, but I have been using Storm and Psylocke an awful lot, with both of them being among my favorite Marvel characters. Storm's Ice Barrage is especially fun to use.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX:

Yes yes yes YES. I am so happy this is going to be a thing, the Mystery Dungeon games are my favorite games in the franchise, I can't wait for this one!

Pokemon SwSh DLC:

Looks fantastic and is an excellent solution to getting rid of the dreaded "third version" games. Hoping this is the new standard. Adding more Pokemon into the Dex for free is both shocking and very cool, super happy to see this after all the negativity last year.

Overall, I give the Direct a shocking 10/10 for me personally. Blew my expectations out of the water and has gotten me super hyped!

Assuming the expansion doesn't add to many actual NEW Pokemon, we'd only be 290 away from a completed National Dex. At that point.... well.... they did say they want to do more DLC after the pass....

I don't have a single main team, but I have been using Storm and Psylocke an awful lot, with both of them being among my favorite Marvel characters. Storm's Ice Barrage is especially fun to use.

Yeah, I usually use Spider-Man and Storm the most. Spider-Man's animations are fast, and he's good at both crowd control and wearing down bosses bit by bit. Not to mention his air attack also works like Dante's Jumping Gun attacks in DMC games. Letting you stay in the air to avoid damage.

Storm's just a really hard hitting Zoner character. Ice Barrage is just really strong. Yet another move that looks like an MVC attack.

Now that word of the Expansion has passed, I decided to start focusing more on finishing the rest of the game in my first save. That includes buying all clothes, finding and buying all TMs, and so on. My dex is ALMOST done. 10 more Pokemon to go, and I should be able to start trading for what I need on either Saturday or Sunday.

I was bitter as shaved ice for about 4 hours. Though the person I was fighting on the Smash Discord was friendly I had suffered a string of defeats earlier so it was really getting to me. I was acting very passive aggressive with the chat something I now solemnly regret.

You know, now that they have "Switch Ready Assets" and they end up having SO much of the national dex in the regional dex, i wonder if the next one will end up bringing over more mons and essentially have the National Dex without being called "National Dex".

Seems Arlo has mixed feelings about the Pokemon DLC.

...Which isn't surprising because Arlo tends to be super critical of everything, lol. Not bad of course, but it does lead me to disagreeing with his videos a lot. Opinions!

DLC always causes mixed reactions no matter what the game. Heck, Kirby and Mario Tennis got free DLC and people still gave them a hard time (Arlo especially was rough on Kirby).

He went off on twitter before that direct about how "the wind told him that Pikmin 4 was coming", clearly a joke, which he followed up on in his direct discussion video. He did admit that it was his fault assuming everyone would get it, but it was still a joke. He actually doesn't talk that way in his videos all that much.

MY biggest problem with Arlo is how much of a graphics ***** he is and how he absolutely fetishises open worlds and non-linearity. Seriously, every time he talks about BoTW or Metroid Prime you can practically hear him *******.

I like Arlo because even if I disagree with some of his points, he's entertaining and fun. His videos are also really well put together and have a fun podcast vibe about them.
