Just saw Frozen II with my sister. It was actually a fairly solid movie. It wasn't the most amazing piece of fiction but the writing is definitely an improvement over the original film. A lot of the twists were somewhat predictable, but no major plot holes immediately stood out to me and Anna had a pretty good character arch throughout it.

The visuals were amazing and the soundtrack was good, and while that's generally to be expected from a Disney film I feel like the visuals were exceptional even by their standards. They clearly had talent (and a budget) behind this film, and it felt like more then just a cheap cash in.

It's not going down as one of my all time favorites or anything but I can see myself going back to it when it gets put on Disney+ just because the visuals are so good, and there's no "Hans" to make it painful to rewatch. It even makes a couple of small, playful jabs at the original and I appreciate that sort of self-awareness.

Sans doesn't have icons or post backgrounds, haha. Adding a silly smiley is a lot simpler than the work to add character postbits/post backgrounds.

Metroid Zero Mission & AM2R, or Bloodstained Ritual of the Night?

AM2R is pretty damn hard and expects you to be very familiar with 2D Metroid game so not that one.

Zero Mission is on the easy side but still pretty good.

Bloodstained is amazing but it depends on which version you're getting

Out of those 3? Metroid: Zero Mission. It's a good game for you to get familiar with that type of game. If it ain't your first then Bloodstained is good too. Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Fusion are also really good entry points into MetroidVania if you ain't all in on them yet.

If you REALLY want to go in on some good ass MetroidVania games though, Zero Mission, Super Metroid, Ori and the Blind Forest, Hollow Knight, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night are the all time greatest.

Can you butcher a character that has none to begin with? Like, I’ve played all 5 games start to end. And I can’t remember a single time where Dante even changed facial expressions. No matter the situation, no matter the enemy, it’s always just “smile, laugh, spout catchphrase”. And he doesn’t have the backstory or in game narrative to justify it like Kratos and Bayonetta do. He never does anything for any reason other than money or still having a planet to live on. The stories are barely ever even about him, they just kind of happen around him. He has no character. He barely has a personality, and he certainly has no character.

DmC has an arc. He has quieter moments that show a depth to him. The story is unquestionably his. It’s just.... better. I’m my opinion at least.

There's a lot more to Dante then you think. Plus him being "smile, laugh, spout catchphrase" is something he does to mask his dark past (plus Nero and V do the same thing almost every time, it ain't just a Dante thing). Like stated earlier, Dante goes from someone who's all fun and doesn't care about anything to someone who genuinely does (look at his conflict with Vergil). Heck, just look at Dante from the beginning of Devil May Cry 3 and then look at him by the end or in his final fight with Vergil. You get a much more mature Dante who despite remaining fun, he became much wiser and Devil May Cry's 4 & 5 prove this. Dante has an arc and it's quite evident.

Dante has much more to him then you think and as a character he is much deeper then Bayonetta because he's had more games and external material under his belt to develop him. That isn't to say Bayonetta has no character (far from it) but Dante has more to him. Plus Bayonetta personality wise is very similar to Dante (people nickname her Female Dante for a reason). If you want Dante to always be serious, Devil May Cry 2 gave it to you and no one liked it for that and for many other reasons. As for Kratos, God of War has a lot more emphasis on it's story then Devil May Cry does so I'll give you that one.

There's more to Dante then you think and the games show you that wether blatantly or subtly.

After a long period of not getting cast for anything, I just got cast for a game that looks really nice. I do not believe I can say anything about it at the moment, but I think some people here may actually enjoy it.

I just feel like every time something good happens to me for the Smash community, something bad happens with something or someone else I love.

The night I got my Nintendo Switch was the same day one of my favorite girl groups disbanded.

The day SNK got leaked was the same day one of my aunts got diagnosed with breast cancer.

What's next? The day of the Game Awards reveal, my most wanted Morrigan Aensland gets announced, then the following day a major boy band and girl group I love disband for good?

Geez, destiny is harsh on me.

Well if the opposite is true, I suggest getting a lottery ticket the night before TGA. That way if it's someone you dislike that's character 5 then you'll win the lottery.

I'm super pissed right now because my Parents have pretty much said "you will be working on homework 24/7 and sleeping until you bring your grade up from a F to a C"

It's definitely justified, IMO, but this is the first time their methods of "convincing" me to do so is so outlandish.

edit: forgot to mention, it doesn't really help that today is the start of thanksgiving break for me. Thanks for nothing, I guess.
Also they might hold my Christmas Presents over my head. Like, I don't care bout em, see if I care, but it's super infuriating how extreme they have been getting recently.

Hell, when this exact same scenario happened last year(got a 0% in one class, quite literally did nothing) they flipped out for a little bit(thankfully they found out when I was going to bed, so it wasn't that bad), held some stuff over my head, and when I started to show progress, stopped holding it over my head. I can tell that this time will be vastly different.

Getting the PC of Bloodstained because the Switch version is ass tragically.

Also plan on playing AM2R on easy mode because I watched Johnny's review. I know how hard it gets.

If you're failing, you've got to do something to change that - particularly if you've got a 0% in one class before. (I'm not sure why you'd do that - all you'd have to do is hand assignments in, and you'd get some kind of a mark) What subject do you have an F in? Hopefully I can help, or at least offer advice/studying tips.
