He did have a crummy life: he had been fending for himself for years as his parents long ago divorced and both are mentally ill.

We let him in our house for a short time but that was over a decade ago and I haven't seen him since. Doesn't help that my mom isn't on talking terms with her brother (the cousin's father).

I'm not sure how old he was but it's in the late 20's. Rest in peace.

They probably still will. Can't see how we won't know who our first character outside the pass will be before the year ends. Doesn't necessarily mean we'll get that character soon, but at least a teaser.

Sorry I haven’t been around lately, I’ve obviously had quite a bit going on in my life recently, and I’ve just been sucked into Gears 5. I’ll likely try to run an arena at some point soon here (not tonight), but I’m looking forward to the next one we have.

One other thing...while I know I wasn’t meaning to drag anyone based on their Smash DLC opinions, and not that anyone has told me I did this, but I do want to apologize if I made anybody feel bad for their opinions on DLC. I’m not about that. While I do very much try to debate on items of discussion, I don’t like to make it seem like somebody doesn’t have a valid opinion.

I still hold my “probably all/mostly 3rd parties” opinion, but I hope I didn’t make anybody feel bad for thinking differently. I do think it’s safer based on information to assume most of not all picks will be 3rd parties, but I was once a person who wanted mostly Nintendo picks, so I can’t be that critical of those that want Nintendo picks now.

I either expect one of two things to happen: A) A Smash direct happens a week or so before Terry's release date and they go over the content he brings and reveal both #5 (+their content) and the first Post-FP character as well as outlining what they'll be doing for the post FP DLC or B) Reveal FP5 alongside Terry and reveal the first post-FP character at the game awards.

I can totally see them going back to the game awards and revealing their first Post-FP DLC character as they already did it with Joker so they have a good relationship and Reggie may be there and even if he's not officially apart of Nintendo anymore Nintendo could allow Reggie to be there to reveal it as he did last time. IDK I just feel like they may do it again.

Nah it's fine you may have come off as condescending but everyone has at least once or twice right? Everyone has that one opinion they're certain of and honestly I agree with thinking that it'll be mostly if not entirely 3rd party again which personally I think that's a shame but I do think it'll happen.

Even if we do get a first party or two I only at best expect it to be: Rex/Pyra, Either a FE:TH rep or a Gen 8 rep and Geno (Since he technically comes from a 1st party franchise) but even then that's sort of stretching it. I completely agree with you on that.

Nah it's alright man. You had a different idea on how DLC was going to be than the rest of us and that's nothing to be ashamed about. You may be right that we might probably get third parties as the majority for DLC, but I still believe it's possible there might be at least one first party pick. And besides, at the end of the day it's all just speculation. It's not like it negatively impacted my opinion on you or anything, I still think you're a cool guy.

I mean, considering we only have one dlc slot left, it's about 50/50 really. It is possible we might get a 1st Party, but methinks the "extra DLC" after the pass will be only 1st party(or mainly 1st party)

What's really funny is our School Chromebooks had(keyword "had") locked down the playstore via our school gmail accounts.
2 Days later, and we had already figured out how to sign in with our PERSONAL accounts, bypassing the filter(well, it was closer to 4 weeks, but it felt like 2 days)
And now for some reason, the IT department rolled out an update that literally prevents you from adding new accounts to the computer.
It's not a big deal for anyone who already "unlocked" the play store, but anyone who didn't won't be able to now.
It is mildly annoying when I want to watch Youtube with my personal account, but I have my phone for that.

Dixie would be cool, though if I'm being honest, I'd be just as fine with Funky or even Cranky if they were unique enough.

I'd offer one of the Champions as a possible Zelda newcomer, but I doubt you'd be interested. I've been floating alone in that boat for over a year and a half.

Maybe. Just depends how far back they're going. Will they start at the Switch's release and go forward, or are they only looking at games from 2019 onward?

While they probably won't be upgraded there's also Isaac and Waluigi if such situation came to pass.

Also we totally need a Rhythm Heaven character as it's one of the last big Nintendo franchises yet to get a character and apparently Chorus Kids were planned for Sm4sh so it would really be interesting for Sakurai to revisit a character concept he had for them (I assume they were cut due to the 3DS limitations anyways so they should get a runback.)

BWD, Dixie, Chorus Kids, Rex/Pyra, Edelgard/Byleth and more are great characters even without going into Assist Upgrades which is a whole 'nother level of possibilities.
