it would be better to actually have the cpu model so I can tell the gen.
If you were knowledgable in computer you would know that you never judge a cpu by its speed, but by its architecture. For example, haswell (the current gen being the 4th one) is just a beast for single thread (or one core) tasks. Dolphin only takes advantage of 2 cores meaning it just is extremely powerfull to run it. Which is why I really enjoy my i5 4690
but if it`s the second gen (sandy bridge), it`s like 30-40% lower in single thread.
It just depends on the cpu. Some might be better for single core, multi core, power consumptions....lots of stuff. What I do know if it`s an i5 4th gen, it`s really good because love that gen
