What happened is that Marth, who is by default headless, caused a parallel-universe Marth to grow a large and horrific appendage out from beneath, and unto which is attached a sharp metal protrusion.

I just want to let you know that I had to be creative to have a nice sig.

First, I wanted to have the logo to have both words separate and be horizontal,. since it would have been too wide, it was scrapped.

Then, I had to edit the image to have the TTYD cut so you just see Paper Mario.

As for the bubbles, it doesn't seem obvious but I have to scale it down, it was done uniformily so it looses the least quality.

Like, it;s not hard to have a wide sig with minimal height. The thing is, you do need basic gimp/photoshop (or even paint.net) skills to have these.

Now, just think about it, I'm currently doing a minecraft ressources pack.

This is not as easy as you might think, yes, the replacement of files to overtake the default one, this trivial to do.

But the actuall replacement implies stuff that makes it painful to make it right. For examples, I planed to have the file selection little ribbon overlay (the little red, blue, green and yellow stuff when the filename appears on). I did had to scale uniformily, but the quality loss was minimal on the file itself. What looked ugly was a lot of buttons cropped the center and only attack the far left to far right for small buttons. The result was you could clearly see the cropping and it's not gorgeous.

I then had to chnage to a more rectangular approch with the prompt menu choice which are simply the usuall white rectangle. Another problem: the text is white and you can't chnage its color. So, I had to colorify the bubble and I decided to use green for unselected and blue for selected.

Now, imagine this for like everything. Positioning the flame for the furnace EXACTLY on the overlay is a pain. Remember, this was an hd gui meaning that the gui was made from scrastch and I had to use a calculator to get the proportion just right.

Really, this is far worse than a little height problem....

What gifs are you trying to fit?

You may have to resize them to fit the dimensions allowed. There's some sites like this one, and you could do other edits. I personally think there should be the same max dimensions for everyone for images/gifs in sigs cuz loading times, but whatevs

I once saw Sonic 06 at a werd game store in a neighborhood that I don't go to often. It was 12 dollars
I saw Sonic Unleashed next to it. Unleashed was only 5 dollars.

On a side note, I left that store holding Rhythm Heaven DS, Kirby Mass Attack, and Sonic Heroes. Without spending more than $50
Keep in mind, this was several years ago, so Mass Attack was still at Retail price in most places.

The reason I didn't get 06 was because I considered it too pricey.
At 12 dollars.

It's the opposite for me. I liked the Brawl art style, Melee's just looks bad to me.

Look at Mewtwo's head in Melee! Its at least 4x bigger than its supposed to be! Bobble head Mewtwo was the reference for PM I believe so that is probably why.

After finally helping her out with the Roster Maker program (Even sending her a few of my images so she won't have to go through the Roster Icon thread), my GF finally made her own roster in the vein of the "If I were to be in charge of the Smash roster" topic in the Character Thread. While I do want her to at least make a Smashboards account, but she has no interest and would rather lurk instead. All I have to say is that some of her ideas were even riskier than mines since she likes to think that way. :laugh:



As you can see, she's rather daring with her choices (To the point of wanting "strange" characters like Anthony, Rhythm Girl, or Cia). She's not that much of a Ridley fan and feels that Anthony is one of the last good Metroid reps left after Sakurai rejected the former (Making characters like Mother Brain and Kraid out of the question). While I believe that Simon Belmont is the last good third party left, she wouldn't mind the Ubisoft icon Rayman joining the battle since he fits much more in her opinion. Rhythm Girl literal screams "Mascot!" to her unlike the Chorus Men or Wrestler due to advertisement alone (Plus the potential costumes she would have). Cia's addition is mostly due to the fact that she finds the character unique and worthy enough to be Hyrule Warriors' mascot (Also because of her potential dynamic with Medusa). While Lana is the more popular choice, she argues that she has a more vocal hatedom and Cia is more deserving due to being the "original". As for Medusa, let's just say she's a huge fan of the character since her first experience with the NES classic and HATED her treatment in Uprising. Let's just say she's not that fond of Hades as a character and felt "cheated" that her favorite character had such a minor role. *Raises flame shield for the Hades fanboys*

So feel free to criticize her risky choices or praise them. :lol:
