Well, while listening to a video about Devil May Cry 4 and cut content, it's understandable for game developers to have cut content, undeveloped content, etc., but the issue besides people raging is that the devs usually never tell us what happened. People tend to have to find cut content or some glitch happens like the Ice Climber crowd chant in SSB4.

So, we have those leftovers of a sword-wielding Ganondorf and Wolf in Melee, the cut characters in Brawl, and the Ice Climbers and the 3rd custom move leftovers in SSB4. You also things implied like Dark Pit's Staff. Something says there were plans to make Dark Pit more than just an alt and more than just a clone. He has his own Final Smash, his own Side Special that's enough to be like a Luigified Fireball or something, and his portrait implies a sword-wielding Ganondorf situation. Lucina and Dr. Mario? Well, Dr. Mario already had something to go from in Melee, but Lucina felt like there was something more and I'm not saying she was planned to have a unique move set, but perhaps she and Dr. Mario were filler for cut characters? I mean, the Ice Climbers, so why not add them? But then who else is missing? Who else was planned?

I don't know where, but it was said that Wolf was loved by Namco and Mewtwo seemed like something that may have been planned, but was just left hanging until someone - probably Nintendo as a whole - said to make Mewtwo considering that compared to Wolf, Lucas, or even like, Waluigi or Daisy, Mewtwo's fanbase is huge since Pokémon is huge.

So what if, what if Wolf was planned, but something came up and Wolf was cut? What if Lucas was planned as well, but because of the series's current situation and therefore, priority was too low? What if Mewtwo was planned all along, but something came up and it was decided it was better to focus on newcomers and characters from Brawl over returning a Melee veteran who would likely have to be severely overhauled since each game has different engine, Mewtwo looks much more different now with the current design, and balancing might require different moves like how Bowser's overhauled, Sheik gained a new idle animation, two new Specials, or Link gaining a Jump Attack and being balanced?

Let's go even further and say that Ganondorf might even had been considered for a slight overhaul. Let's say that Warlock Punch would have been replaced by a move with his sword from Twilight Princess. Or Phantom Slash was actually a move for Toon Zelda, but she wouldn't be that great of an addition, so let's give it to Zelda or maybe a proposed idea for Zelda's Down Special just didn't work. Let's add in that Falco's Bair and Fox's Wolf Flash and Twisting Fox were leftovers for Wolf.

Nobody knows and nobody will know until it's been confirmed by the devs in some way like Sakurai saying that the Ice Climbers were cut due to hardware, the 3DS's, limitations. It's all just speculation, but it's something to think for people.

In a way, it'd be like comparing Melee/Project M and SSB4. He's not attacking either, but explaining the issues of the re-releases and using that in context to SSB is that there are things being added to SSB4 that makes the game fair, caters to both casual and competitive, and features that should be in new SSB's, but the issue is that people are going to rip on them or don't really care. So, customs? They're amazing, but some people might never get them or just don't care; some people would play the characters by default forever.

Rage? Oh, this is one hot topic. It's a thing that is supposed to reward both the losing and winning players. A losing player can exploit the added knockback and make a comeback and the winning player can exploit it as well to beat their opponent. So, it rewards you as a winning player to keep that added power while a losing player gets a helping hand to comeback. There are people who think it's stupid and makes it so that the game is just left to a game of chance because a good read could just end the match. I think it's a fine mechanic, but it does need some fixing which leads to people complaining how Lucario has both aura and rage stacked on top, so maybe individuated rages could be used in future SSB's like Lucario's rage benefits are low, but his aura makes up for it while Marth's rage is much stronger making his rage tippers even deadlier.

Well, the girls were using a site to give away their Friend Codes to the predators and in turn, the predators began to post disturbing images in Swapnote. Then they got caught and blah blah blah, the service ended abruptly.

It isn't Nintendo's fault for this. It's more like the girls' parents for not supervising their children's actions. That's why Parental Controls exists in the first place. If it wasn't for that, we would have Flipnote here already. And I think Nintendo avoided mentioning FS3D when translating one of Miyamoto's Pikmin Short Movies posts in Miiverse.. so that might mean we'll never get it. :/

However, I understand why they ended the service. It was mainly to protect consumers I guess.

Unless there's another rainfall, of course, I don't think our beloved application will get released here and in other regions aside from Japan. *laughs*

PictoChat was way better than Swapnote in my opinion. It's just that the latter was so limited. If it was an integrated messaging system that is like PictoChat, then that'd be great. Although it won't happen for sure.

Here's the biggest flaw of the Final Fantasy Series:

Trying to get back into one after a few months/years.

Really, I decided to throw Final Fantasy 6 into my PS2 after a couple of years, and I'm stranded somewhere near the end of the game, middle of no where on an airship. I have no idea where to go, what to do, or even what attacks.set up my team generally worked on [like memorizing Sabin's bum rush again].

Same with Final Fantasy 9, I tried that out again after a while, I'm somewhere in Ispen's tower, again lost and not sure what my good team set up was or If I'm there just to grind for XP or if I already finished it.

Again, with FF 7, Stuck in the middle of no where in my dung buggie. No idea if I just got it again, or where I'm going...


It's actually really off putting. I feel just like giving up again because I have to backtrack super far with little help or hints [Also, even more difficult with monsters plaguing your ever step]. Anyone else feel this way? Imo, they should have a list of objectives in the menu or something on exactly where to go next. Or have that nifty feature in Pokemon Fire Red that flashes back the last few events upon start up [at least that game was easy to find A to B though]

So yeah, unless I look up a strategy guide and try to relate it and piece together where I'm going, it's a TON of unnecessary wandering, backtracking, and so much time fighting monsters, when I may just be going the wrong way the whole time.


Sides from that, wonderful games! IMO 9>6>10>7>5 [all I played so far]

Just did some FG matches. It was horrible. is now the only character that I see in this mode. Time to time I encounter a or a . Two characters that I hate thanks to Sakurai making them annoying.
is no longer the king of FG, now it's this green guy with no personality that rules this place.
