Reminds me of how Mattel did not want Barbie to be in the first Toy Story and how Hasbro didn't want G.I. Joe to get blown up by Sid. I bet Hasbro still regrets this decision.

Fair point too, but if they accepted the deal JP (seeing the huge success of the movie) may have continued to use the glam rock approach they did with Turbo and Ram it Down instead of creating the Legendary Beast called PAINKILLER

I still find it funny that Dreamworks used the "#1 movie in America ad for Shrek 4" a week before Toy Story 3 came out.

Reminder: Even if Toy Story 4 flops in terms of plot progression, it will win an Oscar just for the Academy voting for the amount of money pushed into their pockets.
