I do apologize if it's Sonic music, but this just fits. My glory days might be long gone (2010), but I like this site. You guys seem to be a lot cooler than the previous group of chatters I talked to. Even my old YouTube buddies are way better than them. I've had a hard time meeting those guys and what not for the past 4 years, and joining Smashboards was just going to be an one-time thing to talk about Smash 3DS. Then, I found the Social Thread 2.0, and it was a nice change of pace. No longer did I need to see perverted jokes, meme fests (the latter does happen here, just not as much), and what not. Let's not forget traitors, and Xat "chat moving".
These past 8 months (?) I've been in this site have been great so far. Sure, there were people complaining about this thread back when it was first created (for obvious reasons), but overall, I enjoyed it. While my time in Smashboards isn't as revolutionary as the one I had with YouTube five years ago, I found a new site to stay. That's all that matters.

No, I'm not quitting just yet, but this does sound like a goodbye message.

Okay here goes:
I joined this site because of Smash 4. I've never been in a forum website other than Serebii and Smogon, so I thought "yeah this will work". I wasn't really paying attention to any kind of Social thread until I saw 2.0, which before that I was just... roaming around the boards, mostly 3DS and Wii U. So then I went to that social and yeah, it was decent for a first.

Then came the GOAT, the one and only, 3.0. I, for one, think that this thread alone made me stay in Smashboards. It was a party everyday, despite it being a GIF fest. There wasn't a lot of complaints; speculation was coming to a close and we were all watching Smash 3DS streams on Twitch to see how the game looked, as well as the new characters. That was great. As the thread came to a close, I really didn't know what to do. 4.0 was coming, Wii U version came out, ORAS and Smogon... tons of stuff were happening. Now?

Despite me saying this thread is boring, I'm just here for you people. I'm a regular. I have to be on a Social thread with you. To chill. And relax. And to discuss things that are interesting (sometimes....). We have all had good and bad times on threads like this one, so it's normal to voice an opinion. 4.0 was mostly complaints with a special PM social.

Regardless, I'm cool with y'all.
