It pretty much isn't a good idea. SEGA's general audience is mainly on Nintendo consoles. They might just be hurting themselves.

And then SEGA would be involved in the making of every pokemon game.

But in all serious, I doubt it. They just said they fired a huge chunk of their workers. They are obviously in no financial success to buy anyone out.

Well that's easy. What they need to is make decent games (and not Sonic Boom). And you can do with any medium really. Even PC and Mobile.

And it's also worth saying that they are making a game with Game Freak which will be on consoles, so they haven't abandoned us yet.

Tbh with you, I'm kinda still impressed they are around the last decade. To me, the industry kinda got some very bad stuff at around mid GC towards its end.

Look, rare, dreamcast getting underrated (honestly, it had so much potential), gc underseeling (and for god sake how much it totally didn't deserve that), microsoft getting involved....so much bad stuff happened at the same time that I'm still impressed sega survived for that long....and nintendo is bound to kepp it up, but let's be honest, the day nintendo is no longer around is to me the end of the industry....that's my interpretation because I would no longer care anyway.

But that's like not bound to happen for decades....so,
