So Pokémon Shuffle just appeared on me 3DS homepage (because I said yes to SpotPass Downloads)

Not going to the eShop to fully download it due to the game having micro transactions (the BAD kind).
But you don't NEED Microtransactions to play the game.
Infact, the game lovingly gives you the stuff you get from said transactions for FREE on Multiple Occasions!

Shuffle is a really fun game, and this is coming from a guy who's not even into the Puzzle Genre.

I dare call it the Kid Icarus Syndrome. You know why. :4pit::4palutena::4darkpit:
I'd call it more the Fire Emblem Syndrome. :4robinm::4robinf::4lucina:

Uprising was great but it's radically different from the originals, except for character/enemy concepts most of it was made from the ground up.

Eh, I can't say it's really all that bad. Gruesome? Sure. But it's more over-the-top than anything. And at least there's a decent game behind it (well, most of the time).

Once again, it's really not as bad as people make it out to be. There are worse offenders out there.

Also...

You, a female, play this? Im a guy and waay too squeamish. How do you like this?
Imagine if smash was like this from the beginning? woah..
I don't see what being a woman has to do with liking a game, nor why it's so surprising.

I'm not a fan of the gory stuff either, to be frank.

That said,

Don't go off the stereotypes.

>Implying gals can't like stuff made for guys.

I'm a guy myself and I think that's stupid.
... I don't wanna start an argument. it's a common stereotype, its not my fault thats what I'm accustomed to thinking that. It's not something out of left field

You have a point.

Uprising was greatly different from the originals, whereas Fire Emblem retains a lot of its key elements.

As for Parasyte, the plot is adapted in the anime faithfully (I'm reading the manga now), but they did change a few things such as some characters' designs and the story being set in the current times rather than the manga's original time. 20 years have passed, after all.

i just saw a trailer for this. Honestly, does anyone here play this gruesome game? Does anyone actually like this kind of stuff?
Considering I've watched Attack on Titan and Parasyte, I sure don't mind some gruesomeness.

I must admit I actually have a liking for the macabre. I mean, it is fiction, so I don't mind it.

Watching macabre stuff that is real is different and freaks me a bit.

Dayum, this thread has a lot of pages. I only just realized I liked a post from back in February because I posted here back then.

Anyways, I took this picture only because of irony and I wanted to post it here. Looks like the tables have turned!

Try Higurashi. Though it has more of psychological horror, and a lot of off-screen body horror.
