Right now there are a lot of VERY conflicting opinions all over the web, but it cant be denied that there was a big number of people hating on the game from day 1. Honestly I dont know.

After the colossal failure of Destiny, I've convinced myself to never hype up a game again. Game developers these days are simply in it for the money. It's sad really. Nintendo is the only one I can trust now that actually ships out finished games.

Oh, yeah. Watchdogs is a good example of that.
It's like game developers are spending more time on their advertisement campaign then their actual game development.

I dunno, I like Destiny, and as much as people like to rag on it, it WAS fan-voted the best PS4 game of 2014 so I dunno.(not to mention it sold A LOT)

I will agree however that buying into hype is dangerous (even from people you know), and even if the finished product is good it might not live up to expectations (Destiny is actually a great example since they DID overpromise on some stuff and make the game seem like it was bigger than it actually was)

However, hype is fun and exciting, and its always something to liven up the wait and even life a little bit. And if the game dissapoints than eh, at least the ride was fun.

I see your point. I wish I could have your enthusiasm, but I don't see it that way.
Concerning Destiny, I'm been a fan of Bungie for over a decade now. I had been waiting for that game for four years, and it was overall pretty bad. Anyways, I don't want to go on a tangent about that. It's in the past.
I'm just tired of watching games, that should have been good, come and go. Like the Order 1886. It's like they showcase all these games at E3 and three quarters of them tend to get kicked to the roadside. I just want to see more of an effort from game developers to make memorable games, rather than seeking to make an extra buck.

While you're at it, download the Fate/stay night visual novel. And the Fate/Zero light novels. And the Fate/hollow ataraxia game. And the Fate/Apocrypha novel. And the Fate/Prototype one. And Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya manga (alongside 2wei! and 3rei!). And if you have a PSP ROM also download Fate/Unlimited Codes, Fate/EXTRA, Fate/EXTRA CCC, Fate/tiger colosseum and Fate/tiger colosseum UPPER.

And all the anime and manga adaptations.

If you get into Tsukihime it would be good too. And Garden of Sinners.
