I watched the old Mario cartoons at some point, but by much. I wonder if they were actually good.

They can be viewed as either cheesy cartoons, so bad that it's good, or unwatchable (I'd say that the first two options are what I think of them). They are pretty good time wasters if you're a huge Mario fan and the pop culture references are actually pretty funny. But watch out for Kootie Pie's bratty whining, or else it'll pinch back. I'd say that that the first show is fantastic while the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World are okay-ish.

And say, @ Digital Hazard I have an inquiry. Have you played any of the Marvel vs. Capcom games, particularly UMvC3? Because I have wanted that game for years but due to certain....licensing issues that seem to have permanently screwed out new players from getting two DLC-only characters...

Is there any way to get them at this point still, like borrowing the credentials of a PSN user who downloaded them or something? Because damn I hate it when stuff like that happens...DLC being taken down and such

Pretty sure that f(x) = - (x+2)^2 = -x^2 - 4x - 4.

I used this equation: (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2

So, you use the following formula:
ax^2 + bx + c = 0 <=>
x = (-b +- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac) )/ 2a

In this case, you have:
x = (4 +- sqrt((-4)^2 - 4*(-1)*(-4) ) / 2*(-1)
<=>
x = 4 +- sqrt(16 - 16) / -2
<=>
x = 4 +- 0 / -2
<=>
x = -2

Since, there's only one value of x obtained, it means the function has only one solution for f(x) = 0. The fact it's a quadratic function, it means its graph is shaped like a parabola. Since it only intersects with the x-axis in one value (result of f(x) = 0 yielding one solution), it means it's the vertex that intersects.

The vertex and intersection with the x-axis is on x = -2, in accordance to the resolution above.

If you want to play as Jill, you should hunt down Marvel vs. Capcom 2 instead. MvC3, or, more accurately, Resident Evil 5 doesn't do the character justice at all.

If you want to play as Jill, you should hunt down Marvel vs. Capcom 2 instead. MvC3, or, more accurately, Resident Evil 5 doesn't do the character justice at all.

AFAIK MvC2 was also removed from XBLA/PSN. I may try hunting down a PS2 copy. It was also apparently on the App Store once, but obviously isn't anymore. I didn't even know that part.

And yeah, I've heard things about RE5...I may watch a walkthrough of that game for ****s and giggles though
